Just saw on my local news yesterday that the doctor who took over for the infected doctor on the ship is an oncologist from my city who is eager to return. What the fuck. Perfect so he’ll bring back directly to our hospital and expose a bunch of immunocompromised patients to hantavirus.

This is a shill thread. The virus has most likely not mutated; it is the same virus that has been known about for thirty years. They're cooking up several narratives that would justify some sort of government meddling into your life (curbing freedom of movement, limiting access to public spaces, etc) because they're up to something; probably several things. Another one of these narratives is the UFO file release. Don't be a fool; ignore this, and ignore anything like it. You're smarter than that. Don't fall for the ruses of people who are dumber than you, people who would spend massive amounts of time on an imageboard goading others into believing some unproductive, low IQ nonsense. Go and live your life; take a break from your troubles and spend your weekend doing something productive or enjoyable.

A KLM flight attendant is now in isolation, the first transport worker case, and healthcare and transport worker cases are historically the strongest early signal of meaningful contagion outside the original cluster. Tenerife dock workers are threatening to physically block the MV Hondius from berthing tomorrow, having watched their own regional government get overruled by Madrid, and showed up outside parliament with banners reading "unsafe port" while an ICU nurse reminded anyone listening that the island still has the same 24 ICU beds it had before a million more people moved there. The three Dutch contacts who tested negative tonight are still inside an 8-week incubation window, tested almost certainly by nasal swab during the presymptomatic phase of a virus that replicates deep in pulmonary tissue rather than the upper respiratory tract, so those negatives are not reassurance. The ship anchors offshore tomorrow, passengers are ferried by boat, loaded onto aircraft, and dispersed back across 23 nations, and meanwhile in South Africa, authorities have only traced 50 of those 88 Airlink passengers, one person in the Western Cape is already showing fever and a sore throat and has been sent for testing, and as of early May, somewhere between 20 and 32 of those passengers still cannot be located at all, nearly three weeks after the flight landed. Everything’s looking okay and under control.

lmao. I'm quite curious to see where we are in a week.

my gut is telling me though that the level of disorganization (or lack of ability to easily and quickly locate people, run tests, and get results) means that whatever numbers we have are going to be completely wrong, for maybe a very long time.

I'm working off an assumption that the contagion cycles average around 3 weeks or 20 days. This is based on data from previous outbreaks and also what we are seeing now with the cruise ship timeline.

We are at present 40 days into this, as the index case boarded the cruise ship on April 1st, and was just beginning to feel ill at that time.

So we are just now entering the third cycle, which aligns with the recent jump in confirmed cases.

Given all this, were currently at an r0 of around 3, and could potentially actually be much higher given we are just now entering a new cycle, and may confirm more cases over the next few days .

Possible infection timeline:

~ March 10: index case infected.

~ April 1: wife and doctor infected.

~ April 21: unknown number of passengers infected, and days later potential Johannesburg super spreader event

~ May 10: present day, no data on how many will be infected around this time.

The cases we are seeing get confirmed now were very likely infected around 20 to 25 April. The cases we're seeing now are only the third generation and we're probably infected by the wife or the doctor.

Britons on hantavirus cruise ship to be sent to Merseyside hospital
British passengers and staff on the cruise ship at the centre of the hantavirus outbreak will be taken to isolate at a hospital in Merseyside, Sky News understands.

The individuals will be transferred to Arrowe Park on the Wirral, Merseyside, previously used for people returning from China at the start of the COVID pandemic in 2020, after being flown back to the UK.

A letter from the chief executive for Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said the group "will be welcoming the guests on Sunday 10 May".

There are currently 22 British citizens - 19 passengers and three crew members - still aboard the vessel, which is expected to dock at Tenerife in the Canary Islands early tomorrow morning.

AND WE ARE BACK
With some fucking common sense

Last notes:
- Some planes will/may carry EU passengers, generally
- They are planning to do an update tomorrow but it is TBD if that will actually happen (lol)
- They are also following up with colleagues in South Africa who are following passengers on the plane from St Helena to "Joeberg" (this was how she said Johannesburg)

>This seems to be a pattern to watch, I have been seeing more and more expanded monitoring being dripped out

If all this info gets released in a decentralized way, there's a chance the messaging isn't all airtight. If I had time, I would scour the health agency websites for the various countries to see what if anything they reveal.

Man, the interviewer had an opportunity to ask her a very basic follow-up question when the WHO bitch said it isn't growing:
>is it possible it is growing, but we just aren't testing it?
but she didn't ask that.

The whole interview is just meant to try to provide the WHO message and not actually provide information.

They mentioned the clusterfuck about South Africa for 1.5 seconds in a footnote at the very end of the presentation.

She was already symptomatic when they took her into isolation tho, so still testing negative despite that could very well mean it’s some sort of unrelated airline aids or just straight up psychosomatics.
She had what, over a week after typhoid Mary’s speedrun and before being quarantined, presumably still at work, to catch literally anything else being spread around on those flights.

Any records of anyone testing negative despite already displaying symptoms?

Shocking new video

The Captain briefed the passengers on the morning of April 12th, 2026 as to the sudden death of a Dutch passenger.

THE CAPTAIN STATED THAT THEY BELIEVED THE MAN DIED OF NATURAL CAUSES.

Therefore, no emergency protocols or even prudent protocols were engaged.
No notification was made to authorities
This violated International Health Regulations 2005
Reminder that only days after, this Dutch man's wife started to feel ill.
Reminder that the ship's Doctor also became ill, PRIOR TO arrival at Saint Helena, where 40 passengers were inexplicably permitted to just depart, without adequate screening.

His wife had symptoms Apr 24 but didn't become respiratory distress until Apr 26. Took her ~20 days after he reported symptoms to die. The Germ on the boat died May 2. A British guy was sick Apr 27 on the boat and evac'd to a hospital where he's still rekt.

Looks like a 2.5 week incubation period before symptoms then on the 3rd week ACKK

Morning anons. Just waking up and catching up. As to the common sense, I think that the medical establishment is just catching up to the fact that this is a H2H variant of hantavirus and needs to be treated as such. As recently as last night, there were alleged M.D.s and journalists on twatter saying this was rodent borne and nothing to worry about.

BTW, That expert Dr. from Argentina said something interesting yesterday. The Andes variant has never been documented to go past 3 transmission cycles. And then it just fizzles out. That is interesting. I wonder if it is because the regions it is common in are sparsely populated or something to do with the virus' replication?

Also, of interest but I have not heard discussed, is how long does the Andes strain last on inanimate objects? The rodent borne variants last a LONG time. Makes me wonder about the surfaces in places where the infected have been.

Yes this is the 2018 Epuyen outbreak. There was also one in El Bolson in 1996. But both outbreaks seem to indicate that the virus is far more contagious than is generally believed.

I'm saying we need some data from 2026, maybe the virus has actually been spreading human to human under our noses for a couple of months. Apparently there have been 100 cases and around 30 deaths so far in Argentina in 2026. The question is whether these cases are connected. And whether this is a higher than normal level of infection, and how much of this is human to human.

Be proud. Your unique hantavirus strain has traveled internationally for the first time.

>>534758054
No, the same Argentine doc (I posted the screencap/link in prior bread) said that the infected are contagious 2 days prior to fever onset and 5 days after.

I am not sure if that means strictly 5 days after the onset of fever, or five days after the fever has broken? After the fever has broken/subsided makes more sense to me, but either way that is a 7 day window of transmissibility and prodromal (onset of disease with no major symptoms) absolutely happens.

It appears that the virus is most contagious during the early part of the illness, just as symptoms are starting to appear, which potentially only lady's a day if severe illness fellows quickly. But this is not always the case and some people only ever have mild symptoms. Symptoms can last for weeks.

>b-but not airplanes you stupid fucking goyim, NEVER AIRPLANES.

This is the most retarded thing they keep trying to force on us. This is also the reason I stocked up on food and water now. What a bunch of fucking bullshit. It can be spread by just walking by someone who has it. Hmm really makes me think. Yeah they can go fuck themselves. I am now seeing every legacy youtube doctor who got covid 19 completely wrong saying the same shit about this Andes variant. They are also lying and saying the Frenchman never got infected, and he did. They are biding their time as much as possible. Gee I wonder why? Fuck this. Fuck them.

>NOTE: This is the ANDES STRAIN. Human-to-human is CONFIRMED with this strain.

This is another RNA virus that will quickly mutate towards feebleness. Come back when there is a high lethality high spreading DNA virus. BTW Ivermectin works against both RNA and DNA viruses. This virus will have zero penetration into societies where there arent billions of rats and mice, meaning it wont have much of a penetration into areas where the weather is freezing every year. That cruise ship is crewed by swarthoid and negroids and its pretty safe to say that there are more ten times rats on that ship than there are passengers and crews. CEOs will never learn.
>>
>>534758668
Ivermectin should be effective as this is an RNA virus. The American "experts" are all over twatter saying there are no studies proving Ivermectin is effective against Hantavirus. Well yeah, no shit. oh for fuck sake, that's a misconception born of the fact that high lethality viruses will kill their hosts before they can spread. It's natural selection that leads to less dangerous viruses, NOT just the natural course of mutations, they can go any direction they want. The incubation time + ability to spread means it's not burning itself out, even if it gets more deadly.

Argentina prioritizes hantavirus surveillance ahead of peak summer transmission and amid an increased case fatality rate of 34%

Argentina has prioritized national hantavirus surveillance ahead of the peak summer transmission season, following an increase in the case fatality rate (CFR) from January 2025 to January 2026, which reached approximately 34%, higher than the historical national averages of 10 to 32% between 2019 and 2024.

Its looking like a low R0, no asymptomatic shedding at incubation, medium chance of airborne once symptoms are present. More likely it was some dirty swinger dutch fags who huffed bird and rat shit then went to the buffet with unwashed hands

low chance of developing into anything and as the days go on its seeming less likely.

“There are not many certainties”: an alarming fact associated this year with hantavirus baffles specialists

>The Ministry of Health decided to prioritize monitoring cases at the national level and concern is growing about the high fatality rate

>This value is even above the estimated 20-30% during the Epuyén outbreak, in Chubut, that the summer of 2018-2019 was extended with cases and isolation of more than a hundred contacts to towns such as Trevelin, El Maitén and El Bolsón because it was one viral variant of interhuman transmission (South Andes). There were 34 cases and 12 deaths, according to records from that outbreak. This year, in just two weeks, four people –including a child under 10 years old– died from hantavirus in Buenos Aires territory alone: Mar del Plata, San Andrés de Giles, Chacabuco and General Belgrano.

>It would appear the virus was already changing at source
It does and that is not unexpected. Viruses tend to go more infectious and less lethal. But the long incubation period could negate the less lethal. And when you are talking about 30-40% killed, less lethal is kinda subjective. It is looking like the cruise ship was an unfortunate intruder into an Argentine petri dish. Also, this would explain the 2 cases from yesterday in the neighboring state of Brazil.

I think it was the case that we have been lucky so far with Rural region. This could do good numbers just from the ship and plane even if it loses virulency after 3rd generation because this is endemic to rats and not humans. 100 or 200 dead is already good numbers for a good scare.
The town of Epuyén in Argentina has like 2000 people they dontt even have a proper hospital.

I'd suspect that's likely to be due to the rural nature of the previous outbreaks. Probably not a trait of the strain, because just dropping off after 3 generations doesn't make sense. More then likely it probably just took 2-3 to burn itself out in rural areas.
