People don't want to hear it, but "productivity" is largely irrelevant, because we have been living in post-scarcity conditions for a long time. Most people are just not that productive, even those who work. It doesnt really make sense to define human value based on productivity. A lot of jobs are not as productive as they look on paper, and much of it is fakeness and appearances. This is why efficiency, in any real sense, often involves firing large amounts of workers.
