CALGARY – A new report is raising concerns about foreign interference in Canada, with researchers warning that the Alberta separatism debate has become a growing target of co-ordinated online campaigns tied to countries such as Russia.

Russia’s engagement with Alberta separatism is covert, it appears doctrinal,
operational, and sustained. Russian government strategy has long emphasized
exploiting divisive issues within Western democracies.

When external actors amplify separatist narratives, normalize annexation, encourage national
rupture, or undermine confidence in democratic processes, the issue is no longer only a matter
of provincial politics. It becomes a direct threat to Canada’s democratic integrity, national
security, and cognitive sovereignty.

It's destined to be a sad failure. So of course /pol/ supports it.

Even if it succeeds, your leaders will continue flooding you with jeets and selling you out to kike interests anyway. Just like Brexit.

Yes and no.

> Yes
Canada is structured in a way that encourages opposition between the Provinces, and the Federal has a natural tendency toward inference. It does not matter if its Liberals or Conservatives or the NPD in power, someone will get fucked over, because someone has to get fucked over in this system. We cannot roll back 60+ years of legislative mistakes. Any of the Provinces separating weakens and threatens Canada as a whole, so Alberta separating would be good.
> No
They have possibly the worst reasons possible for wanting to separate. They are pushing this retarded, historically-repulsive version of Canadian culture where they see themselves as legitimate inheritors of the land and are now being victimized by the Feds, when in fact they are the 2~3rd generation descendants of the nth wave of immigrants sent over by the Feds to fuck over the Prairie's previous inhabitants. And, they are mostly Slavs and Germans.
