I dislike urban "cowboys" driving F150s and larger vehicles to do nothing but commute in it and haul the occasional box from Lowe's. It's just unnecessary for what most people use them for. And modern SUVs are just a way of avoiding fuel economy regulations, so now every other suburban mom is driving a Wagoneer or similar instead of a traditional minivan. The Sienna is fucking great from a leftist perspective, as it's a hybrid that recharges off the engine and doesn't even need to be plugged in. And it does everything most people with big-ass fuel inefficient vehicles want to do. We shouldn't have to be buying Jap-engineered cars just to get a mid-size vehicle that performs well for what Americans use their cars for.

This is why some newer models of vehicles that contain a v4, when the older models contained a v8, are smaller. The manufacturers bitch about it, but would also never want it done away with, because it's a defacto protection for the domestic automotive industry. If these domestic manufacturers just make trucks and suvs these retarded monstrosities, the tolerance isn't as tight, so they can still slap a v8 into them. It's the regulations being tightened that has contributed to this problem.
