>/pol/ a teeming redditesque shithole filled with TDSniggers

I read in FT today that the big boys are literally saying"Does anyone actually care if Hormuz is open? " and laughing while counting their tech earnings.
>>
>>534795006
Considering gas is still double what is was before this, yes I do know it's still closed.
>>
>>534795006
$200 to fill up is the new normal
>>
>>534795949
I'd love to see that article if you have it

Trump's bluffs keep getting called. US has no choice, we must let Iran keep their nuclear and to toll the strait for it to open again. Trump doesn't want to use force or war. This is the only option then.
>>

The article is called "Milken elite bask in glow of soaring earnings a world away from the straight of Hormuz". I get the paper delivered so I don't have link sorry

Lmao, you think gas prices will go back down. Hilarious. No, theyre going to stay this high until they find another reason to jack it up again, because they dont actually base their price on reality, just how much they can gouge people.

Nothing you can do about it. Do you want to care or just ignore it? It's clear America's financial elite have already chosen not to care. The rest of the world will burn and we'll still be focused on tech stocks.
>>

Also according to FT the risk of an actual shortage occurs in June when World SPRs are tapped out. Even then that will just mean inflation will spike which is good for assets. Markets will just go higher until actual demand destruction begins to affect earnings but that's a quarter or two away at the earliest, while oil majors predict everything will be back to normal by August.

>people just moved on?
America lost, so they're just quiet about it for now. In a year or two they'll claim they actually won a decisive victory, likely pointing to k/d ratio, as per usual.

It'll just be cheaper to pay the 1% Iranian toll and open the straight back up at this point. The worst case scenario for reopening is just a rounding error. The only risk there ever was, was missiles blowing up all the wells and refineries and that clearly isn't happening so it's no risk at all.
>>
>>534795006
Only Yurop and Australia rely on it for trade. No one cares.

Mackinac Island. Beautiful this time of year. It separates Lake Huron from Lake Michigan. No cars are allowed. idk, the US keeps talking about bombing it.

If news came out that an extinction-level asteroid was going to hit the earth next week, investors would say "what a fantastic opportunity to buy the dip!", and the line would just keep going up even as it hit the outer layers of the atmosphere.
>>
>>534795006
It's unironically 6 weeks until all hell breaks loose.

Why has the average price for gas in the US shot up by like 2 dollars a gallon since the war began then?

Watch gas spike on Monday. Its hilarious miggers think they will win the midterms. Gerrymandering can't overcome public outrage.
