Uber or friend or wife drives you to the hospital.A few stitches? Wound wash thoroughly saline solution then betadine if it is not a deep puncture. Butterfly bandages to keep it partially closed. Clean it every few hours. Tolerate alcohol on a wound. Keep an eye on it for redness swelling heat or any red lines traveling from site. Things happen but an ambulance ride for a broken arm is not necessary. Getting it X-ray and set yes but that could happen at the clinic not the hospital. If you can keep up with tetanus shot. It will save you a lot of trouble. Travel vaccines you can get at CVS are helpful especially if you aren't traveling but need extra protection. Why isn't it free? People have to work to provide it so why should it be. Why is it expensive? Because you use it pretty stupidly and elect stupid people lobbied by insurance lobbies, and it's not the president it's reps in your district.
