They're hard because college as an institution was never intended for you. These used to serve as filters, but as the college model evolved more like a business where putting people on the degree treadmill for as long as possible is favored over education, they had to lower standards to keep the most treadmills operating.
This isn't to say you're stupid, 98% of people that went to college never should have. Although being smart would have prevented your current situation. You can also use one of the copes like "test anxiety" if you want to feel better about yourself.

I dont like this framing that you need an IQ of 130+ to go through college handily. Ive struggled but still passed most of my classes, and Im a senior so Ill be graduating soon..im just saying the exams are fuckin hard.
Maybe anxiety isnt the full picture. i believe i have ADHD so I need some stimulants to help me work efficiently. I plan to get those soon.
