I think it's happened maybe twice in like 14 years here for me. To be fair, I haven't had a VPN for 14 years, but since I've been using one, anyway. It can and is, no matter what. If you happen to eke by for a little while, they'll still catch up to you. The real purpose behind the VPNs is to get you to drop your guard. They function fine on sites they don't care about from the perspective of the site owner, but your activity is tracked, and someone else knows you looked at that site even if the site owner doesn't. Odds are, 4chan is run by Israel anyway.
I remember when I was on /v/ and there was just one single fucking thread about something unrelated to games with a provocative title.I thought, "The mods must have rolled out some new anti-spam system," but then I went to /pol/ and there were several threads discussing a terrorist attack in Israel.The day Israel descended into chaos was the best day ever to use 4chan.To this day, I'm convinced it wasn't a coincidence.
