As someone who works in the pool industry this is not a long term solution if his “pool guy” is doing what I think he’s doing. Even tho the sealant is better now than it was 10-15 years ago, they tend to peel. But I don’t see any other way to do it properly without it taking forever, I’d give it a pebble tech finish, those last forever, but the best finish, fiberglass. Looks good, feels good.
