As soon as I mention that I am investing in ETF funds people fire back wirh "you lost it all", they treat stocks and funds of all kinds like gambling, but if I bought a shiny new niggercar like a BMW I would get applause from them. Financial iliteracy is so rampant people are still falling for Facebook ads for crypto investments, not only boomers but in their 30s. Yes, all of the companies some of which had existed for 150 years were just waiting for my money to be invested so they can all go bankrupt at the same time.
