>just wait 20 minutes for your transaction to go through
>also no stores accept it after 20 years
>also hope the big banks don't do a rug pull and collapse the entire thing
big cryptos like btc and eth are just air. only backed by hype. same as the nft mania that hit a few years ago. this shit is all about to go POOF! it's the same as the dot com bubble in the 90s.
>>
So, what you are saying is that we have reached the bottom?
>>
>>534862167
the future of currency actually looks way more grim than that.
Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency make money digital and programmable and fully trackable. these are just testbeds.
the next step is merging AI Agents and the programmable digital money.
once this is achieved they will begin decoupling the masses from the money.
So in the not so distant future no human has actually any money, if they want something they will have to do what the jewish AI tells them to and then they are allowed the resources.
>>
>>534862354
>So, what you are saying is that we have reached the bottom?
i know you're joking, but this shit is only good for buying drugs online. will probably find its home around 1k/btc. in the meantime it's going to be a roller coaster of people buying on dips and pushing it up before it drops again.

imagine owning a store and trying to sell shit based on btc? like at the end of the day you could have actually lost money because the price of btc went down on all the products you sold.
>>
>>534862167
Crypto currency is a pyramid scheme
>>
>>534862167
The current world order doesn't do online money transfers because of terrorism and such. If it did, the world will look very different. It's called international. If crypto were allowed to be itself, just send where ever with no international law in the way of selling, yeah that's why BTC is gonna go $1,000,000 minimum. Trump and the rest of them wants the boom, but slime first to get old heads out the way. Any other talking point is pointeless
>>
>>534862709
>will probably find its home around 1k/btc
Lmao, yeah, we reached the bottom.

But go ahead, short Bitcoin. Show your conviction.
>>
>>534862840
>Crypto currency is a pyramid scheme
at this point i believe it is. it's all techbros hyping up this shit. i was a btc to 1M guy and eth to 500k guy for years. then recently i realized tf am i doing? and sold it all. i was nowhere near a crypto millionaire at any time but i just didn't see it going anywhere.
>>
>>534862167
the promise from the beginning was
* no privacy for you
* the govt can still counterfeit
* the rich still get privacy
>>
>>534862967
>But go ahead, short Bitcoin. Show your conviction.
i already sold all of my crypto like 2-3 months ago.
>>
yahoo finance used to have a specific section for crypto on their side panel and i just checked and it's gone now. this shit is fucked.
>>
>>534862167
>stores don't accept gold
>stores that do take gold take 30 minutes to give you cash
LMAO
Faggot.
>>
>>534863117
Bitcoin was the promise they could not keep
It simply did not work but the demand for something to work like that is still out there
NOTHING changes that fact....the crypto world is still to boom even if not by this origin coin
>>
>>534862167
you forgot to mention the fact SHA256 will be cracked by 2029 with quantum computers, according to current estimates within the field.
>>

>just wait 20 minutes for your transaction to go through
Lightning payments are near instant, faster than Visa and MasterCard
>No stores accept it
Steak N Shake has the new Speed QR terminals that let you pay with Bitcoin Lightning in 393 stores.
Most crypto users just use a virtual credit card on apple/google pay. I can spend fartcoin directly at any store that takes cards. Many crypto wallets have built-in NFC payments via virtual credit card now.
Don't get left behind.

You are falling for the FOMO.

Good for you, doesn't mean Bitcoin (I'm not talking about crypto) magically stops going up just because you are out.
>>

>Good for you, doesn't mean Bitcoin (I'm not talking about crypto) magically stops going up just because you are out.
i hope i am proven wrong so you true believers can get your bags. the truth is, it's all based on air and everyone buying crypto is planning on eventually exiting to fiat.
>>
>>534863407
bitcoin was patched multiple times
it had fatal bugs and still survived because it was everyones interest to keep it up running....
It is like the fed which has an interest to keep the machines running which prints their useless money for the goy to use
>>
>>534862167
Forget about crypto and nfts. AI is the next big thing, tech bros!
>>
>>534862167
bitcoin was over the minute they folded it into the current financial system and pegged it to the usd and starting trading it the same as any other currency
it was suppose to replace the entire financial system
if it wasn't a glowie op from the start which is highly likely
>>
>>534862167
No humans can see the future. God made it as such.

All BTC fud became irrelevant the second it was used by Iran as a payment method for a strait toll. It lived up to everything it was promised as. If you still don't own a sizeable portion you are actually a retard and will never make it.

It will literally take you longer for the pawn shop to verify your gold is real when you decide to cash out on it.
Pigeons verifiably transfer data faster than the internet, why are we still using the internet?

Honestly this entire coin is incredibly retarded when you think about it. States like Texas build these mega farms to mine algorithms. They consume more energy than many cities, just to solve some math problems that for some unknown reason have value. Bitcoin is like diamond, they only have value due to clever marketing.

Predict the exact digit in your next post then. Nigger.

sell low, big brain hahahahaahahahah
meanwhile, I already got a couple houses and cards out of it. not even speculation, I just saw the technology years ago, bought a few here and there from my weekly booze money, kept it, forget, and then years later I sold what's in my wallet for some big gains. fuck the government though, even taxing my sleeping investment windfall

sometimes i can't sleep for a few days. then i basically become a schizo where my dreams merge with reality. experienced it enough to know what's real and what's not. also, the sleeplessness isn't because of drugs, but i can understand why people on meth and shit like that lose their minds.

My bank transfers take up to 3 days to go through though.

pretty sure i sold around the peak of btc. not sure if eth was at the peak. i tried to convince my brother (eth enthusiast) to get out at the same time but i think he's still holding. he has way more crypto than i had though.

learn to read you nigger
>>534865079
it wasn't anything like that
it was a lucid dream while i had a normal and healthy sleep pattern and then a few weeks later it happened in reality
>>
>>534865180
>My bank transfers take up to 3 days to go through though.
i guess you're a baller then. i was talking about in-store transactions and how nobody accepts btc.

i've only transferred a few thousand dollars through my bank and it's instant.
>>
>>534865180
Yeah this is dumb, I mean you can send 100 million USD in BTC in 20 mins anywhere on earth. No one really has to know who got it or where it's going, unless they autistically filter through TXs.

Also DoubleZero is working on technology/produced technology that increases network throughput anyway for crypto. 80+% of SOL transactions use DoubleZero Edge/Shreds already.
>>
>>534865399
>in-store transactions
You mean like a normal purchase with a card? That's not a transaction per se.
Sending money from an account to another account, as in an actual transaction, takes a minimum of a day. If you do the transaction in a weekend (sometimes even on Friday if its late in the day) it won't get processed until Monday.
Bitcoin has that lightning network shit that actually does instant and virtually free transactions, though.
>>
>>534865343
>it was a lucid dream while i had a normal and healthy sleep pattern and then a few weeks later it happened in reality
i think you're describing something akin to deja vu. the brain is extremely complex and can concoct scenarios you have never conceived of in your waking moments.

>>534862167
>also when the dollar collapses so does craptocoin
>also when the power goes out, so does craptocoin
>also the satanic government can track it and seize it more easily than cash
>>

Billionaires should not exist
>>
>>534865534
if i use my debit card, the transaction happens instantly. if i use my credit card, i might not see the transaction go through for a few days. either way i can buy anything with the credit card and instantly walk out of a store.
>>
when crypto implodes along the fake fiat system, many people are gonna rope
>>
>>534865661
nope it wasnt deja vu
it was a series of events in a dream
and a later series of events in real life that were the same series of events that unfolded in the dream
you can try and cope as much as you want but that's the nature of reality
>>
>>534865716
>>also when the dollar collapses so does craptocoin
this. crypto was supposed to be a store of value. meanwhile when the economy collapses, crypto collapses.

ok, actual wizard. let us all pray that you can control your powers for good.

20 years old and people still dont understand how bitcoin works or why its good

poverty is deserved. youre probably a loser.
>>
>>534865883
>So what were you arguing about then?
that the bank has your back with a credit card. with btc there is nobody to say you have the funds to support your transaction.
>>
>>534865834
>crypto was supposed to be a store of value.
you fundamentally do not understand crypto. crypto is a store of information, not of value.

>>534866086
>the bank has your back
say this again once you have been blocked by some automated system. i was blocked from paying for anything for 2 months because some jeet set up his website wrong, it declined the payment 3 times and that blocked MY card.
>>
>>534866086
>that the bank has your back
Just for clarification. The one that has your back is the processor not the bank.
>with btc there is nobody
The system itself functions as the processor.

I was about to say that it boggles my mind someone in /pol/ of all places is bootlicking for banks and processors but it's 2026 so things are different than they used to here.
>>
>>534866150
>you fundamentally do not understand crypto. crypto is a store of information, not of value.
then have your fun. in my opinion, you might as well be buying stocks. at least stocks have an underlying value instead of fomo hype.

this is not true actually
>big banks don't do a rug pull
big banks don't hold a significant amount of it to rugpull, doofus

there are legitimate criticisms of BTC - why is it that the threads here are always room temp IQ on the subject?
