A common claim made by women and ethnic minorities (LGBT people too, but the implications differ) in the west aswell as their advocates is that they "just want to be seen as normal" and that this justifies activism for their group, quotas for advancing the status of said group in various areas of life, and even downright discrimination and social stigma against white people/men.This claim hinges upon the idea that a population not being seen as "normal" means that they're discriminated against (are white people in China discriminated against?) but is obviously BS even if this were to be granted. Simply put, the same people claiming they just want to be normal would NEVER seek to assimilate to white society but will over and above identify as part of their own community, a clue that this is just a power grab: they want both the money, status and power of white society AND their own.Moreover, the goal is so vague it can never provably be acheived, so in practice this argument is only used to continually discriminate against White people and advocate for "minorities" regardless of how little power Whites would hold (Being barely a demographic majority in the west anymore.) This is also true for feminism which will advocate for giving women more power regardless of how poorly men end up doing, and will in-fact celebrate female overrepresentation and privilege. Why? Simple: Doing otherwise would be putting the advancement of women in the backseat, which cannot happen untill women have equal power to men across society at large (which means...?).What these sort of leftist ideologies really amount to is just asking white people (or straight white men) to give up our power and accept being discriminated against (which isn't racism because... shut up ok) in our own societies untill we won't exist anymore.It is emotional abuse as an ideology and I'm sick of pretending otherwise.
