What bothers me more than anything about that show is how everyone is just kind of expected to forget that there is essentially an extinction level crisis of infertility happening. It's never explicitly stated but when the ambassador from mexico comes for a meeting she states that there has not been a child born in Mexico in over a decade.What that tells you is basically what Gilead is doing is the only the thing that is working with birth rates still being a drop in the bucket in regards to population replacement. I'm pretty sure when 1 child is being boring for every 100,000 people that die humanity would accept some pretty extreme measures.
