Well yeah. Non-ai algorithms have been writing most of the news for decades now. But also their metrics tell them pandemic news hits well because there was 4 years of captured audience when that all they'd talk about and were threatening people over it.

No one cares, even if they beleive it's real. It's a snooze fest. Monkeypox disappeared like the giant mascots in the simpsons. People just didn't click or watch and were just waiting to hear whether they didn't have to go to work. The call never came because the labdemic disappeared because no one reinforced the news cycle. It doesn't even have to do with 97% of monkey pox cases being homosexual men. No one cared then, and no one cares now.
