>>534892900I'll trade any russian anon my casio calculator watch for a lada.
this one's exempt from the ban
>>534892900Wearing a Casio watch was enough to get you thrown in Guantanamo during GWoTNot kidding
>>534892900>rotating a sidepiece on the watch for about 10 minutes.never seen a mechanical watch, have you? let alone an automatic one. dear, oh dear.
>>534892900USA is banning smart watches, in food workers.
>>534893031Yes they are
I'll wear my Elektronika as I please.
>>534893572how do they keep track on time>you need to rotate this food item upside down in exactly 5 minutes in manufacturing process>watch is banned
>>534892900Clockmakers and machinist are feeling bullish!
So my 1958 Pobeda "Gagarin" Sturmanskie is good?
>>534893273They sold a billion of those watches. Not including knock offs. It was a symbol. In nerd circles that was standard gear. Swank drip for geeks and misfits. And they are pretty tough gear with a looong battery life. Even has a little flash light. And the timer/stop watch is excellent for many things. Mostly 3 minutes for properly steeped tea brew.
>>534893978where did you obtained all this watch stuff
>>534893703Cool
>>534893736That burger is wrong, but they're banning them in several warehouses. It's a stupid fucking rule. You can't even have your phone on the site except the break room. At first I thought it was because zoomers couldn't stay off the fucking phone but it's because they don't want people to record the shady business practices that goes on beyond the metal detector. But it's really easy to sneak them in... Sometimes...
>>534893978With real radioactive glow in the dark paint. That's neat.
R8 my loadout
>>534893273>>534894071these are the best watches for making IEDs. formerly a nerd status symbol, now a veteran status symbol
>>534892900funny
Should I buy a Vostok or are they too shitty?
>>534894218no knife? and where are your lockpicks
>>534892900This guy vlad, doing something called tyranny; he needs to be removed from power.
>>534894134The watch getting place. >>534894176It's only 0.04 mSv per hour according to my Geiger counter. I get exposed to more at work all the time.
>>534893978I have one of those sitting in my watch drawer but it died the first week. No watchmakers around here.
>>534893442>>534893273>>534892900Bomb makers favorite. I have one from literally 18 years ago still going strong.
>>534894218THE CIA NIGGER FEARS THIS
>>534892900I'm never going to Russia likely any time in my life, but us vostok watch autists stay winning
>>534894269They're heavy. The Kommanderskies I own weigh a ton. I will say Soviet watches are pretty good, their movements are all stolen copies of Rolex and Cartier.
>>534895206Have you ever opened one of them up? There is a lot of plastic in the movements. They're cool watches, especially for the price, but their crowns suck and their bracelets are just awful.
>>534894255It's a sweet piece of swank drip. It's a beautiful piece. Still tight and running?
>>534895206Handsome watches.
>>534895343Most of my Soviets are all metal inside (none are newer than 1970). I have taken a few completely apart and serviced them. They are almost all only losing a second or two per month according to my timegrapher. >>534895541Tak.
>>534892900>t. KhodorkovskyThis broken telephone game is stupid. The articles that your Finnish tabloid quotes mention no public bans and only allegations that officials can't meet Putin while wearing those
>>534895730>ruhnamakek that's an odd selection
>>534895838>odd selectionYou dare defame the Turkmenbashi?!?
>>534894877prolly just needs cleaning. try a yt watchmaker you'd trust and mail it in. my fav watchmaker died. can relate.
My watch can turn on my television.
>>534897643Nice Ruger.
>>534895730Right on man. You should do a watch thing on /dyi/. Sure there's tonnes of other dudes collecting sweet wrist swag.
>>534893031>activating it means rotating a sidepiece on the watch, a kind of knobly thing, for about 10 minutesWhat kind of moron buys a watch with automatic only and not automatic + winding crown? Even the cheapest entry level movements have this feature.
>>534892900>Moshe Magazine adds that Putin is paranoid about bomb assasinations altough there hasnt been anykind of bombings for quite some time in RussiaLooks they had some intel on watches that could contain a free C4 inside. Somebody has learned from the jewish trick with pagers.
>>534899594watches have been fag jewelry since the invention of smartwatchesyou already have a clock in your pocketthe only reason to wear a wristwatch is to show it off to ther fags
>>534892900Once upon a time I saw a pic of a bolt with a hole drilled through it sideways. There was a spring and a washer and the bolt was sharpened at the tip. I think a shotgun shell was held by a pipe thru which the bolt ran. Basically you pulled back the bolt compressing the spring, and then you put a piece of solder thru the hole to hold it in place. The spring was quite strong so after a few minutes the pressure of the spring would cut the solder allowing the bolt to slam into the shotgun shell primer. It think it was an Individual Retirement Account thing. I may have the details wrong but it didn't look too hard to recreate.
>>534899765*smartphones ffs
>>534899765Looking at the phone to check the time is an indicator of low class. Even zoomies realized that.
>>534892900That's not what it says, retard. It says watches are banned from meetings with Putin. Can you read your own language?
>>534899836zoomies are the faggiest generation ever appealing to zoomies as authorities in anything is really stupid > indicator of low class.faggot spotted
>>534899765this. though a true patrician can tell time by the sun. more or less. and it doesn't matter at night.
>>534899765smartwatches are cool if you have work or are training a lotyou do technically need a watch, not more than one, to walk into corporate buildings if you have some rankbut yeah they're gay as fuck when we all have atomic clocks but steve jobs made them into jewelry doohickeys for faggots so it's over
>>534895206Why do people care about movements, which they cannot see or understand anyway? Shouldn’t the main thing be, that it keeps time? Isn’t simple quartz sufficient? This is one of the worst forms of larpinf
>>534899916Only millennials believed in the meme of smartphones replacing watches. It could work when smartphones were around 4" and could fit a shirt pocket, not so much after 2018.
>>534900033> not more than onewhy to?if one expensive watch confers X amount of rank in a corporate building, why not wear two or more?that'll show them you can afford them and have more rank!
>>534900080Movements are like car engines; some are big block V-8s, others are Prius motors (like quartz). The fact you don't understand the engineering and craftsmanship it takes t create a fine movement proves to me you're a materialistic cuck.
>>534900287>The fact you don't understand the engineering and craftsmanship it takes t create a fine movement proves to me you're a materialistic cuck.the absolute irony and lack of self-awareness of this statement lmao
>>534895761Finland is a new Butthurt Belter. Nothing to see here.
>>534897643>worst ruger>virgin calculatorI but it dries up pussy too.
>>534893703I want one.
>>534900287The main selling point of quartz watches is lower quality and lower price than mechanical ones. When the circuitry dies, it's over, buy a new one. Don't expect any fancy shit from the materials and looks.
>>534892900>F-91WHey I'm wearing that right now. Based. It's the only watch a White man needs.
but i can make a timer with a few electronic components, a candle, a chemical mixture, an air, wiley coyotes apex industries bedside alarm clock etc
>>534893442Yeah, i cant wait to have a collection of 91fw's in a nice watch case just to flex on normies watch choices.
