What does /pol/ think about E. Michael Jones' analysis that satanism is the hidden grammar of Protestantism?

tl;dw John Milton's Paradise Lost is actually about why you should rebel against God. Thomas Paine's Common Sense incorporates this ideology, and was the most widely read book in America during its founding by the Fathers.

Professor Jiang also shares this belief.

I never understood the Catholic aversion to allRebellion, Per Se, as a category.

Aren't some rulers evil and worthy of rebelling against? Isn't whether Rebellion is good or evil dependant on the context? Or Catholics just believe in following all orders and all authorities, no matter what, as a pricinple? If so, that's so slavish it begs the question of whether a person who asci es to it is even still a human

Should you rebel against the church started by Jesus and his apostles?

In John 14:26 Jesus says God will send His spirit upon the disciples, so that they remember and pass on his teachings. If Apostolic succession is true, how does that work for Protestants who posit God's church is a spiritual body made up of believers everywhere, not a new institution created at Pentecost? Paul said there's only one body, not thousands all trying to do it on their own. "He who hears you hears me" (Lk 10:16). So, by implication doesn't that mean people who aren't following the authority given to the church don't hear him?
>>
>>534910124
Jesus called Peter "Satan" when he wasn't behaving appropriately, presumably the Jesus thing to do would be to call out the Church similarly in similar circumstances. Are all the successors of Peter immunized from behaving inappropriately on account of Pentacost?
>>
>>534910904
You can call out the church while still being in the body, right? Disagreements are one thing, rejecting the hierarchy set up by Jesus is another.

But based on 2 Corinthians 6:14, "there is no communion between light and darkness," there's some kind of line where believers should refuse communion with even portions of the Church hierarchy if it's fallen into "Darkness," at least until there's repentance & improvement. Like in medieval times, serfs certainly owed allegiance to their local Lord, but if their Lord wasn't following their King or the King wasn't following God, then there were grounds for "legitimate rebellions" in favor of a higher authority, no? Ideally Luther/Protestants would have phrased their objections as "we won't come back to the Church unless these things are fixed" and then a dialogue would have ensued, but the Catholic Church lacks a good feedback mechanism for complaints and objections from below and became a "love it or leave it" proposition

i'm split, honestly. i'm a dissenting catholic (half shitalian), agree with protestant reform but crave orthodoxy. doctrinally i love kjv independent baptists who are anti-calvinism but i find threads of truth in catholicism and orthodoxy as well.

blanket statements by protestants like "all catholics are going to hell" are absolutely retarded to me and make me having had a devout catholic grandma. anyone who had one understands lol i dislike their masonic suit and tie reformation cult for that aspect. infant baptism is another one. with a child born into an actual christian home, that is. I remember having a relationship with God as a child.. absolutely obnoxious and clearly wrong.

the whole church clearly needs reform and unification. personally preach a concept called radical grace which dispensationalism made me aware of.

>based on 2 Corinthians 6:14, "there is no communion between light and darkness,"
Playing devil's advocate here because I'm trying to learn more about this, but why should I believe your interpretation over the historical church Jesus and by extension his apostles started? Either they have authority, or they don't and the Scriptures are invalid which goes against sola scriptura.

>the whole church clearly needs reform and unification
Agreed.

The weird worship of Mary is hard to ignore. I'm in a similar place as you. I was baptized Catholic as a child but I also enjoy Baptist preaching lol.

Something about the eastern orthodox I don't trust but I'm not even sure why..

This guy is legitimately retarded. The Catholic Church has been a BIG pusher of open borders for years in the US offering its church services for illegal migrants. The local CC in my town does food pantries for beaners every week.

>Something about the eastern orthodox I don't trust
They have this thing about icons. I've been watching a lot of Jay Dyer's debates trying to understand the various positions and arguments, and he made a case for worshiping objects using Joshua 7:6. Seems culty but maybe an Orthobro on here can elucidate us.
>>534912250
He names them, though, which is far more than a lot of Catholics are willing to do.

I think i have a unique take on orthodoxy

I see the whole protestant/catholic drama playing out like an echo of israel v judah.

I really enjoyed the bruce gore guy i linked earlier's course on the historical context of the bible. he's presbyterian and has some views i disagree with in that regard but his scholarship on the ot and american history is top notch.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYFBLkHop2alFacrvkn2qtR3y1D2fQmad

there's a whole bunch of kings in there and the whole drama of israel playing out well after assyrian conquest which sent a lot of the northern tribes up into europe and babylonian occupation which sent a lot of judah into southern europe and west africa (this is not in the gore lectures this is my take) we reformed in europe integrating with the northern tribes up there already. became european and christianized. all of israel was already dabbling in all the cannanite religion after their stay in canaan and through the creation of israel. these religions are more universal than regional. this whole drama seems retarded and like a punishment. orthodox church completely avoided that. they didn't even fight back against the ottomons they were just like fuck it we're occupied let's focus on jesus. reminds me a lot of paul or john the baptist or daniel. imprisonment in babylon/edom's/satan's kingdom is a central theme in our fellowship.. idk i read all the qoutes from the monks on ig and agree with them a lot.

>protestant/catholic drama playing out like an echo of israel v judah
It reminds me of Mark 9:33-41 where Jesus is explaining who will actually be counted as great in heaven. The disciples, who all started their own churches, arguing who is superior in following Christ, no different than today.
>bruce gore guy i linked earlier's course on the historical context of the bible

another key point i think that's necessary for my take is understanding the multitude followed the heebs out of egypt and with all the intermarrying it's likely there's a branch of the tribe for every redeemable aspect of humanitiess races... racial purists hate this, including myself lol but i have to acknowledge that within Christendom specifically, there is clearly a message of racial obscurity within the ranks of all who are predestined...

How exactly is Gnosticism the world of the flesh? It's whole thing is that it rejects the material world.
>>
>>534914076
there was just an ancient priesthood that goes back to adamic times with obscured history

i don't think it's for us to worry in our current time which is why it was occulted by God but it's def interesting if you're into this crazy speculative stuff
>>
>>534914385
>ancient priesthood that goes back to adamic times
I believe this is related to Enoch being the father of mysticism or something like that. The Greeks had Hermes, the Egyptians had Thoth. I'm not too versed in this stuff, but it is interesting in some ways.
>>
>>534914272
>Preaching works-based Salvation just like Islam
Islam teaches that grace alone saves. How so? They teach that God alone has power, and that he directly wills all things at all times, meaning that God alone chooses who will do good and who will do evil. AKA grace

I suppose Jesus teaches the same thing when he says that no one can come to him without him calling them first
>"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:44

1 Corinthians 10:15 -
10 I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. 11 For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers. 12 What I mean is that each one of you says, “I follow Paul,” or “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Cephas,” or “I follow Christ.” 13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so that no one may say that you were baptized in my name.

Cephas = Saint Peter for those who do not know.

Jesus Christ is our High Priest. Jesus Christ is alive, right now, reigning in Heaven. All authority has been given to Him.

Why do we need a Pope when we already have Christ? You say submit to Rome, we say submit to God.

Don't even get me started on the Marianism "Queen of Heaven" Ishtar worship (that's what it is).

The Catechisms? Basically the Roman Catholic version of the Talmud. Roman Catholics & EO are modern-day Pharisees, dead in their whitewashed sepulchers.

Look at how many times they've divided over & over throughout these past 2,000 years.

On the other hand, what we call the spiritual Body of Christ, "The Church" has remained undivided this entire time.

>>534914363
Gnostics are spiritually dead in their sins. Those who are spiritually dead are only alive in the world of flesh. The Christian is alive in the World of Spirit.

>>534914679
According to Islamic theology, the weighing of deeds on the Day of Judgment determines a person's ultimate fate based on the weight of their actions in the Scale (Mizan).

>Something about the eastern orthodox I don't trust but I'm not even sure why..

Evelyn Waugh was in the SAS and in his autobiographical WW2 novel he (Waugh as Guy Crouchback) confesses to an E. Orthodox priest who, instead of taking his confession legitimately begins to question Waugh/Crouchback on troop movements etc rousing Waugh's suspicions. The problem with the E. Orthodox Church is that it's so closely tied to the ruling government. It still is.

>>534915339

>>
>>534915339
Everyone begins life spiritually dead in sin, since sin came through Adam, and remains so until Christ raises them to spiritual life through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. In this new birth, believers are united to Christ, the last Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45 - 45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
