They raise prices on panic but only lower them when its tangible. So it wont come down till every link in the chain feels that the price is down.

"Supply & demand" is midwit COPE.
In reality, prices are a reflection of how much ASS RAPE the customer is willing to put up with.
Nobody ever comes in to undercut the price gougers, that's a retarded lolbert fucking FANTASY.
In the real fucking world, every seller colludes with every other seller of a product to agree on an artificially high price floor because they ALL profit from it it.
"COVID prices" never went away because the consumers revealed to the market how much anal rape they'd tolerate and it was a lot.

You are looking at the paper speculation future price. Price for an actual physical barrel right now is 140$. Eventually that paper price is going to painfully and suddenly adjust to match reality. The longer jew speculation keeps it low, the more painful that inevitable correction will be.

Nothing in the grocery store is down from the covid high.

>>534937246
That's not what "Supply and demand" implies. As its presented, it implies that prices would come down if inventory wasn't moving but this never happens. In reality, production is simply just decreased when inventory isn't moving but the price never goes down because that would set an unprofitable expectation in the consumer
>>
>>534937961

Simply put:
> demand is staying artificially high because there are people still around (mostly boomers) that still pay the high prices
> prices won't come down because that's how INFLATION works - only way prices come down in say the grocery store is deflation - heavily increased supply but also a lower demand
>>
>>534936356
It's only.that low on paper. Trump is banking of economically illiterate hicks being confused by spot and futures.

Futures usually track spot closely. The problem us that Trump and Bessent have been deliberately manipulating futures, including selling the SPR, to create the spread.

This entire administration needs to be jailed for life.
>>
>>534939175
As "Supply and demand" is presented, one would assume prices would come down if inventory wasn't moving enough even if a few people were still paying gouge prices. But this never happens. Production is instead slowed and inventory is allowed to rot so long as the consumer never gets the idea the goods could be had for cheaper prices

>In reality, prices are a reflection of how much ASS RAPE the customer is willing to put up with.
Somewhat true, but supply and demand sometimes dictates prices.
Food is generally part of the S&M model (it grows in the ground, ya fucking cunts, and fucks to make more of itself), whereas oil is subject to S&D.
So Coke being $9 a 12 pack is corporate greed.
Oil being $4.50 is maybe more justified.

>>534936356
Because you need gas, simple as, unlike raising prices on a lot of other stuff which you may want but dont really need, you cant wait for gas to go down, you still need to get in your car and go wageslave, still need to go do groceries, trucks still need to move goods etc.
For example beef price soar due wathever reasons, you may want to eat beef but you dont need to eat beef to go on your daily life, you can eat pork, poultry, lamb, fish, eggs etc while waiting for beef to go down, or raising price on clothes you can use your old clothes while waiting for clothes to go down etc. Now try that mentality with gas, you are fucked, they can do wathever they want with gas prices because people will still buy it.

There is definite supply/demand effects, but when you have consortium's of investment groups that work together to change markets, you can have many price/product changes happening unnaturally due to them. There is a desire to reduce the carbon footprint we create, but we are the biggest carbon, so what actually is getting reduced? The same people who want to remove your ability to have a personal vehicle, want to import 100s of millions of people to join this free place that can more easily get these things. So something there isn't right; something they know that we don't? Surely they aren't importing more people so the energy demands go up even more as you get more first world habits...so likely a big artificial pull is coming soon; likely the fake currencies will be crashed, followed by new even faker currencies, and many "old world" products leaving the mass consumer markets. Welcome to the NWO.

Bummer, heard se Asia was having to drop 200 now on delivery. If I could track it you can accurately predict the infection point when the false rigged price does and demand price explodes.

Most in the US don't even comprehend what happens if those who need oil send all their ships to the US and out bid US on that oil. Jewish corporations hold no loyalty and will sell to the highest bidder. And if you are 20, 30, or over a 100% higher than the futures market on delivery. It's a no brainer to buy from the US cheap just to keep the lights on. But the US doesn't have the spare capacity to supplement the losses overseas, by even a few % points in global demand.

Which means massive shortages incoming. But to see them fully coming you have to see the moves in reality, not a fantasy which the current futures market is.

But people won't just take us. There are inflection points that stops an old reality and starts a new one. With outright no supply, that is even worse.

Go look up what happened when their inflection points on oil price and availability hit. On week things where the same as for decades before. Then you've government officials running in the street fleeing mobs and the wife of a prime Minister burning alive in their home. Went from zero to 60 in less than three days.

Americans can’t see the forest because there are too many trees blocking the view.

“When the economy collapses a loaf of bread will be $100!” That used to be colloquial wisdom. The idea was that literally everything would be either unobtainable or insanely expensive. Well we passed the point of post-scarcity long ago, so everything is obtainable. But our money is worthless so everything is expensive.

Literally everything has increased by an absurd degree. Food, housing, insurance, vehicles, video games (all entertainment), healthcare, gas, electricity…

Did those prices really all go up in some sort of grand conspiracy involving literally everyone? Or did the value of the dollar just fucking plummet?

There are 630,000 more home sellers than buyers right now. The price of homes has tanked, but it’s high in paper because dollars are fucking worthless. Go compare home prices to gold and get back to me.
