Worker-capitalist is simply an outgrowth of the woman-man dialectic. In both Marxism and Veblen (these are two different outlooks, this is just one similarity), the first class division is between man and woman; woman is placed under labor alienation. I don't just mean her reproductive capabilities, but man is the hunter and warrior, woman becomes everything else: beast of burden, textile manufacturer, gardener, cook, and so on. As civilization becomes more advanced, so do these roles; instead of women carrying everything for example we have truckers and freight hands. As Veblen says, all labor performed by the slave, the serf and ultimately the prole, coincides with "woman's work". Communism is inevitable dialectically because the share of wealth cannot keep concentrating infinitely at its current rate, and the capitalist class is always impelled to extract a greater and greater portion of the wealth produced by labor through wage extraction and debt. There comes a point where further concentration is economically impossible, at which point a greater portion of the capitalist class will have to be pushed out of the bottom of their class and into proles (downward mobility). Fewer and fewer and fewer owners, more wageslaves, renters and debtors. At some point increasing wealth share will require regression to outright forced labor at wages which can't buy them, and then revolution becomes inevitable.
