Is Appalachia on your summer travel itinerary?
No, staying on the west coast
>scrubby Alder trees and deer ticksWAOW
No, I'm not a data center contractor, I don't have the privilege of raping miggers with what they voted for in their own backyards LOL
>>534980283A skinwalker posted this
>>534980283i'll likely be passing through.
Technically yes. I will be hiking Vermont, New Hampshire, and upstate New York this summer.
>>534980387I've barely noticed ticks. I wish they didn't log it either, but this is what we've got. >>534980485Maybe take a detour to see something unusual.
too many white trash and country music
>>534980283Humidity, ticks, mosquitos, hazy scenery, poison ivy, terrible roads, bland nature. Ive been twice and it sucked both times.
there is fucking nothing to do there except gawk at the sheer amount of poverty and downtrodden old people, and go campingcamping is better in the rockies however, soalso the first time I ever heard someone unironically call a black guy a nigger out loud was in west virginia, and it was meant in a friendly way no less
>>534980387Yeah I’m not going anywhere that there’s ticks
>>534980283I'm looking to move to NC from Marxachusetts.
>>534980633If you go to the dispersed campsites in mid-summer they often have family reunions there (free car campsites usually by a creek), often with confederate flags. >>534980661may I recommend "badger balm" for those pesky skeeters?>hazy sceneryif you can, go after a heavy rain, or a cloudy day>poison ivygenuinely never noticed that>terrible roadsthe more who visit, the more there will be incentive to fix up the roadsthat said, pic related is actually a good road, 2 lane paved highwayand it should be less humid at higher elevation, if you go hiking at 4000 ft in summer its not as bad>>534980709there's canyons
>>534980283>Is Appalachia on your summer travel itinerary?yup, building an off grid cabin this year
>>534980789Do you have lots of money? NC has some of the richest parts of Appalachia where there's country clubs and gated communities on the edge of a mountain. I mean, there's less monied parts too, but I'd say the distinguishing feaures of NC appalachia are its proximity to decent sized southern cities, its more developed nature relative to the rest of appalachia, and the huge houses and extreme wealth in some areas, in NC you will have a big valley dotted with mansions on the hills and you don't see that as much elsewhere.
i'm never going to travel again
someone should visit me i want a boyfriend
>>534980283OOOOOOOOOOOOH DEATH
>>534981047huh?
>>534980283I spent an entire month in this christian science camp called Crystal Lake, deep in the mountains of Massachusetts, right before the pandemic hit. I guess thats considered Appalachia?? Anyway, it was by far one of the most beautiful pieces of nature I ever seen. Almost like an enchanted forest. Made me felt like it was some lord of the rings type shit. Unfortunelly, there was a very unstable favelado kid with me, he ended up strangling one of the american kids and it was fucked up.
>>534980283FUCK NO!
>>534980283Traveling is something that fancy folk do. I'm a simple NEET. Tending to my tendies.
>>534980283the old tennessee license plates were so good.
>>534980283nope
>>534980633I grew up in nashville and we had a word for country music lovers. "tourists" I don't think anyone in nashville actually likes country
>>534985108>deep in the mountains of Massachusettskek, you can walk across that state in 2-3 days without breaking a sweat. There are metropolitan areas larger than that state.
>>534980283>Is Appalachia on your summer travel itinerary?I want to see Bigfoot.
>>534985273>I don't think anyone in nashville actually likes countryThe stuff from Nashville isn't country and hasn't been for decades. It's faggot city troon music.
>>534980283probably not the summer, but I will most likely visit Quebec in the winter.
>>534985285Idk man, Conselour told me is was pretty damn easy to get lost in there. I even heard someone screaming while me and that troubled kid were there. It was a girl scream, during day time. As much as that place was beautiful, it was also kinda spooky, especially at night
>>534985348yeah it's pretty shit and newer country music often uses vocal tuning/autotune. it was the first genre to use it a lot even before pop music. I was born in hendersonville and was neighbors with a couple of members of blues traveller and my best friend's dad was a recording agent. when I moved to nashville later I was an intern for a recording agent and went to lots of studios. brian ahern asked me if I'd be his apprentice but my parents moved us to pulaski tennessee. I could have lived a much different life if I was given the opportunity
>>534985108appalachia ends right around the mountains of eastern ny
>>534980283Country road...
>>534980283I don't believe the native yeehaws want me in their lands, anon. And let's be honest, the only reason I'd go is to snake some hampig's pipes long enough to acquire a free room and three square meals a day.
>>534980283yeah I might go down to SC to fuck my dead best friend's ex, maybe I'll take the Palmetto
>>534985645that's true they definitely don't want you visiting, which is what makes it so weird, but you just have to ignore that and focus on how pretty the land is>>534985719seedy
>>534980283No, I'm from the Midwest so I don't understand why people travel.
>>534980283>travel
yes!
nah there's enough ticks around here i'm good
>>534980283No. I live in Scotland which is far nicer and not full of dumfuck Americans. If I get bored of Scotland's beauty it's a £15 flight to anywhere in Europe. The bus to the airport is free.
>>534985940that blanket was such a little fag wish somebody had found the jack nicholson sounding AC unit a rolling cart or something he should have been the main character
