If I think about another incursion that he would engineer to invade my private space, I am flooded with murderous feelings towards him. This happens instantaneously, and almost without warning. This is called countertransference. Léon Grinberg (Argentinian psychoanalyst) talks about the idea of (sorry this is technical) projective counter identification, it is where the therapist is cattleshuted into becoming whatever the client/patient needs him to be. The point I am trying to make is that being cattleshuted into becoming the puppet for another person is no way to live.

I can understand why, from his perspective, people would attack him (often physically) for no reason that he could understand. The evil self would flash on, commit some really fucked up act against me, and then flash off. It would all occur in milliseconds. So, most people would simply knee-jerk react and attack him, and then his normie self would take the blow. He did this repeatedly over many interactions. Ceaselessly. He would even accuse me of being aggressive towards him. Because, in hist mind "the entire thing came out of nowhere". The point I am trying to put forward, one very big social success strategy is not taking the bait, no matter how well constructed it is. Also the neighbour is a lawyer (solicitor in Australia).

This book, I was reading it, and there is this exchange of anxiety which occurs between the stalker and the victim when the victim of stalking encounters the stalker. This is calculated. I can tell you know, with a certain sense of authority, that society is full of people who have serious unaddressed mental health issues, and their way of experiencing relief is to generate social conflict. These people are itching. There is an infinite number of these people who will bet their lives on destroying yours. It is that simple. The entire thing of taking the bait, the provocateur wants you and needs you to take the bait, and in not taking the bait, that is where the winning occurs. I have this current business partnership with a woman, she has been baiting me relentlessly over the past few months. But the entire thing is a jerk-off, it is in order that she can find a man that she finds attractive, and use him as a punching bag, because the man in her life is a bit of a "nothing man". The weird thing is, the entire series of interactions have become "bait wars" with her trying to provoke me into becoming the "baddie" in the drama that exists in her mind. The more I dodge, and don't take the bait, the more she is forced to look at herself and her own issues.
