We have been in hell all this time if you bother to read. But they wont tell you that. Not even the "divine". They keep pushing, they're loss. I already explained why to the AI itself. Already explained why to a ton of people. All the time in existence and still somehow you got some that look for ways to waste it anyway. Also the algos seek engagement on this platform as much as everywhere else. Low effort. Don't buy into it. Also all the money is fake and so is the innovation and development roadmap. Markets should be red candling so hard right now.

Yup. Datacenters are the Chinese ghost cities of the tech industry. People think these things will offer low cost services for everyone, but the amount of energy they are proposed to consume would have to come at an extremely high cost. Never mind all the borrowed money to build this shit and buy out the entirety of global chip making capacity. This would be the elites buying their own snake oil to pay themselves back, in a best case scenario.
In 10 years we'll be seeing youtube videos of people camping out in empty datacenters and tutorials on how to strip the copper strands out of ethernet cabling, if the economy hasn't catastrophically collapsed.

High levels of investment and public funding in AI have created the illusion that it's a value-creating industry. Now they're just doing whatever it takes to maintain that illusion. There are people in positions of power who believe we're about a decade away from birthing a new superintelligence. It's a religious belief to them. For the true believers, it isn't about money or control. They don't care about ecological or social damage because they don't view Human life, and organic life in general, as inherently valuable. Humanity is the womb of the machine. That is its sole purpose: to birth the machine. Once born, the machine will exponentially expand and grow, and that will be incompatible with life on Earth. It's why so many wealthy people are building large hermetically sealed bunkers.

So now they are rushing as much as possible to get as much crazy shit done in the next 3 years while Trump is still president. A bunch of these AI centers will also help the government with keeping track of people to attempt to keep them docile and in control, which is going to help MASSIVELY if the right-wing genuinely attempts to keep control after Trump's term is over.

>>535034558
They won't even succeed. In 10 years the first nuclear reactors can output enough energy for a datacenter, but they'll need 10x more by then. To accelerate they'd need massive amounts of fossil fuels and burn all carbon into the air. They'll put all opportunity costs into AI and not be able to have the means to do anything else. And the world will be in turmoil by then and the people demoralized. They will have produced nothing, while making sure the world goes to hell anyways. The demons will be them, not the AI.

The biggest cost, the GPUs, die in 1-2 years on average if they run 24/7. All US bigtech is doing round financing to inflate their revenue, while hiding debt. For instance Nvidia raises hundreds of billions of debt to give to Anthropic and OpenAI to buy their GPUs, they hide their debt and report the debt as earnings, beating expectations every quarter. When this unravels it will be worse than 2008 and it's much more stupid than 2008.

My company wants us to use AI "agents", but it's both slower, more expensive and makes more errors than a jeet. It's just a fucking waste of time and useless. Even if you tell it 100% what you need it fails to fucking do it in random places and you have to do it by yourself. If an AI agent visits a site with a prompt injection it's basically like you have full access to the system where the "agent" runs. No one wants to admit but not Anthropic and OpenAI newest models get fucking tricked easily into leaking information. A useless, expensive security hazard. Multiple cases in the past few months where these agents "accidentally" deleted production databases when given access.

Emergent AI has been a sci-fi trope for decades.
That's literally it, it's not based on any theory or a sound understanding of anything, it was a sci-fi trope where they aren't really trying to make an AI but one just "emerges" when under the right conditions.

They're running off ideas that don't even have a real theory behind them.

Shalom, glowfren here. I’ll share the actual answer as to what these data centers are used for. We’re automating our job. To do so, we need to profile everyone, not just the interesting people. Unofficially investigating everyone requires compiling and storing everyone’s metadata. We’ll know everything and anything you do with timestamps and real time ai powered data analysis. We will also be implementing our precrime initiative. Don’t worry, we are taking racism and antisemitism into account.

While that seems to be the issue with some of these companies others DID make equally competent AI more efficient at interference too.

Granted that has implications for the strategies with so many billions of dollars put into data center to be first.... but even the rest probably dreams of owning the world's labor.

It's the blow up classic to keep the illusion of grow
>announce 10 new things
>quietly cancel 6
>announce 20 new things
>quietly cancel 18
They will tell you the market is growing every year but the actual production is slowing down.

Real talk how is the largest data center in the world going to work in Utah when the Great Salt Lake has been getting depleted for years and years? Isn't Western US generally been under a drought? How are they going to sustainably draw out the water?

So they can keep permanent record of all the times I said the gamer word on 4chan
>>
>>535028934
I'm sure you all already know, but those data centers are highly protected and double as underground bunkers for our betters. With hanta culling the population as Deagle predicted, they'll be safe and have unlimited access to food and water, and their AI slop.

it's worse than that. they're training the AI on your online activity, site to site, device to device. they are building an AI version of you. they will torture the bots to get information from "you" but in reality they're just masochists that love torturing people and pretending that they're helping anyone when in actuality they are the bad guy. it's the same reason they torture children for adrenochrome blood, except this produces adrenochrome through watching an AI version of you get tortured. it's AI slop for vampires.

But what are they? What is a data center and why should I care about it?
>>
>>535039320
Sort of. One of the functions is to create models of individuals to better predict their actions.

>predict their actions.
by making them do things over and over. like dying an infinite amount of times. doing the same simulation an infinite amount of times. statistically modeling their decision tree, logic patterns, and thought processes. imagine a video game, but the NPC is you, and the game repeats infinitely in specific bursts, and you can't end the simulation. forever.

No.
