Rent controls don't work, all they do is create a shortage. If you lower the price you increase demand, but this increase in demand is rarely matched by an increase in supply. Hence a shortage occurs. People end up homeless. Leftists live in a fantasy land where the laws of supply and demand aren't real. It's all just vibes for them. Unserious people.
