>>535045745The issue is Trump got a guy to actually come in and do that work at 1/10th what the other qoutes were, and skirted the process where that company usually stalls for a few decades, says they need more money, and so on. One of the things that radicalized Trump if you read The Art of The Deal is just how incompetent governing bodies and project management was in NYC. Projects that he had done in a year for say $10million were taking a city project 6 years and $80million for quality that was somehow worse. Obviously he would need decades to get everything actually done himself, but cleaning up DC is one small thing he has consistently been working on with the time he has. And rightfully so, our nation's capital should be enviable beautiful. Not the slum it has been.

You don't understand the process and how fast ground footage can be covered.The concrete is shot blasted to remove the surface layer for good adhesion, then Epoxy is squeegeed out by a couple of guys with big broomstick squeegees.I've seen them do 17k square feet in 4 hours prep time, and 4 hours paint time the next day.At the time the Epoxy was 20k and the job was done for under 100k, the outfit owner had 6 employees on the jobsite, all of them white, one liked to recycle.
