I thought ai art wasn't real art til I used it
then I realized prompting is an art form itself
now I accept ai art
>t. art teacher at prestigious art school
>>
Uhhh I thought everything was art. So why can't my AI generated R34 be art?
>>
>>535068099
I don’t want people with no artistic talent to have the means to make art, being unable to draw and make something artistic with your own mind makes you dysgenic and technology shouldn’t compensate dysgenic people.
>>
>>535068099
What's your official role and what is the name of your "prestigious" art school, please?

1. As a content creator, I know how powerful AI can be.

2. And I just learned that China is trying really hard to beat the U.S. in AI. If they do, it could mean that China gets personal data from me and my kids, and take jobs that should be here in the U.S.

3. In the AI innovation race.... I´m Team USA!!!

It means you're dysgenic since you don't have the talent to do it with your own hands.

Only the first one is a artist, others are just operators.

You can still do that. Don't expect constant bookings

You are a sodomite who shits on canvass and calls it art.
Just because commercial images are cheaper and easier to produce, don't make the mistake of thinking it is art.

Also, using another man's anus as a masturbation aid is not real sex.

Teach THAT to your students!
>>
>>535068099
The problem with AI art is that people who use AI aren't very creative. If you don't care enough to put in the hours to learn how to draw or compose a photograph chances are you don't care enough to have anything interesting to say.
>>

AI fuckup or ESL poster. You decide!

That's just because his R34 was of her. It probably pissed her off when SD correctly discerned she wasn't a natural blonde.
>>
>>535068099
>then I realized prompting is an art form itself

If anyone can do it, then there's nothing impressive or special about it. You're not an artist, you're just a guy ordering a cheeseburger with no pickles.
>>
>>535068099
I used to work in art, and recently started developping my own pipeline to generate AI "art".
It's not as easy as it seems, yes, and you need to master things to be good at it, and have some form of creative control over it.
But to consider it as actual art ? You must never had any talent or qualitative output to have this viewpoint. Customizing prompts and variables isn't the same thing at all compared to making it yourself. Give me your pipeline and I can generate the exact same thing as you. Recreating the prompts might be harder, but it's easily crackable after a few tries.
In the end, there's no "you" in AI art. Not 1%. Not even 0.001%. Not matter how personal or original you believe your process/pipeline is.
>art teacher at prestigious art school
kek sure thing bud
>>
>>535068099
lol where did all this accelerationism lead us? *good* paintings still go for thosands, while photography is wholly irrelevant in the public perception, the internet is flooded with millions of pictures a second & no one cares, while many are still willing to hang an og artpiece into ones living room. ai will not fare any better. make no mistake abt it ppl do still value good handicraft over slop.
>>
>>535068599
at the end of the day its a tool, everyone has a 50 megapixel camera in their pocket, how many people are taking photographs worth a damn? not fucking many.
>>
>become a luddite to own the chuds

these threads really expose the bitter losers of our society. you can't stop it but I enjoy watching you try lol
>>
>>535068599
Based and objectively correct, but what's worse is AI will actively stiffle otherwise potential talent in the long run.
>>

>>
>>535068099
Modern artists will now be more like photographers, staging the scene and making sure the AI outputs look good.
>>
>>535068099
All of these artforms are still being practiced. What are you trying to say?
>>
