I suspect the reason they have been targeted is due to the Varangian Rus crushing the Khazarian khanate more than a millennium ago. Also, for what it’s worth, every time I have met a Norwegian or Swede here in the Americas, I get along with them extremely well, in many instances those form in to very solid friendships that have lasted years.
