>>535109941The first Turkish person I met in America was when my mom and I were looking for distressed houses to flip. He owned a really nice refurbished house in the ghetto and my mom asked if the neighborhood was safe. My mom never implied race but this skinny Turkish guy said the neighbors were Black but the next door neighbor, even though he was Black, owned a nightclub and was rich. He was implying that because he was rich it was a safe neighborhood. I thought it was funny he himself made the connection between a neighborhood's level of safety with race. He was a skinny racist Turkish guy In the end his house was too nice and my mom wanted distressed houses so we moved on to the next house and no deal. He was funny though. Most Turks are probably dangerous though not funny like him.
