What surprises me about politicians is that they can run with the most extreme point of views and promises, and after they are elected, they do a completely 180, and switch to the complete opposite of what they promised. If we took away social media rants, and Trump speeches and so on, I doubt anyone would notice any difference in the US beside what has been happening over many years when it comes to increase cost of living on every single aspect of life.
