Most women with BPD are autists that had their mask damaged during its development. This occurs before age 10. They then incorporate those negative behaviours into their mask and it becomes part of their identity. Fibromyaglia is also now connected to autism. The latest working hypothesis is that the unifying factor between all autists is sensitivity, proven by physiological differences in the CNS, increased anesthetic requirements for autists, brain processing differences, and more. This is all from the last 3 years of peer reviewed inquiry into these subjects. In the next 10 years it morph into a large collaborately diagnosis where many mental disorders and anti social behaviours are connected to the damaged mask of sensitive autists.I'm only presenting the information as it currently stands. This is where the funding is going and where the science leaning it will occur regardless of your opinion on it.

>>535118473I believe at some point in the future we will discover that people born with glutamate hyper excitability due to environmental contamination (chemicals in water supply, food consumed in utero) have developed a misaligned fight or flight response, which is responsible for like 90% of the mental illnesses we are seeing today. No one will believe me though. I have a running theory but I don't know enough about medical science to prove it to anyone

>>535118473Honestly, seems like a pretty good theory. My ex-wife is autistic and has BPD. She always alluded to something happening to her when she was younger. About a year and a half in she confessed that her brother raped her when she was seven and has felt suicidal ever since.
