The right wing is fracturing into two distinct groups, just like the left wing did. What you essentially have is the corpo right vs the conservative right. There's a bunch of very confused people in the middle, and of course almost every right wing person believes they're conservative, but the reality is that only the corpo right holds and real power in the government. So what's the difference?The corpo right worships the economy, specifically the stock market and gdp, and will sacrifice almost anything for it. It doesn't care if you have a job, if you're broke, if you're white or black or indian or what religion you are, as long as you give them money or conversely are an inexpensive tool. They will pay lip service to conservative values- but like any giant corporation with its employees they will give you the lowest possible return for your investment of time and effort in their service. Think of things like Trump's showy but ineffectual deportation policy. The conservative right is the opposite. The would be willing to endure economic suffering and maybe even a depression if it meant repairing the cultural and social fabric of the country. There's more variety on this side, and for some conservatives preserving the racial identity of america is a major part of it, but the general idea is repairing the foundations of the country and the family over things expanding tech and unlimited economic growth

Conservatism is tread upon by every political faction, because it slowly continues to shift with the overton window. It's how we got here, because eventually they've died on so many hills, that they've lost everything. Anyone who calls themselves conservative is a fence sitter.
