its not as apocalyptic as people make it out to be. hormuz is 20% of global supplies, not 100%. yes it will hurt many countries, but it's not like all fossil fuels cease to exist. the US, russia etc. are still in business and exporting. what is going to happen is that countries will have to start rationing. things will get more expensive, economies will slow down etc. so basically another financial crisis.
