An angel with a shotgun could save him

That's a Ukrainian though
>>
Net gun lol. They're the size of a flashlight and easy to make. Completely useless in any other situation. Wow that was hard
>>
>>535124072
as was stated in the OP though
>>
>>535124179
I've also thought of this. Wouldn't the net also be soft enough that it won't trigger the explosive mechanism on the drone? I guess there must be a massive practical disadvantage for both sides to not employ it.
>>
>>535124179
*gets obliterated IRL trying to use his net gun under pressure*
>>
>>535124179
You’ll see how hard it will be when you stop being cucks and invade Iran
>>
>>535124297
you trigger the explosive electrically
have 1 rod and 2 wire loops around it
when the wire loop is pushed it touches the rod, electricity connects and explosion

that is also how you make tripwires, they use a lot a 9 volt batteries in that war
>>
>>535124297
I have no idea but it's better than standing there eating cabbage

maybe this could be part of the standard loadout? itd need to be a little longer

You need an autoshotgun, ideally with specialised ammunition. That's alreay doable and in this situation Slavomir might've saved his ass.
So far, armies haven't put any good anti drone weapons in the grunts' hands. Even though they aren't that expandable anymore as both Russia and Ukraine slowly run out of fodder. A White ethnostate would already have developed some portable detection tech and have fielded squads with a designated anti Drone specialist.

One of those rafts that opens up really fast would work better. You can make them any shape (dicks preferably) because you don't need it to float. It's almost like this has been given no thought at all
>>
>>535124495
soldiers are not given any equipment on purpose
the idea is you need to make the "enemy" expend ammo on those "soldiers" and therefore not have ammo
>>
>>535124538
How many drones do you think China could manufacture in a day with wartime priority? Every American can also be tracked at all times with Chinese technology lol. War is going to be so fucking gay in the future
>>
>>535123906
>5 years of war
>still no shotguns
Lost technology for russia?
>>
>>535124650
apparently not enough
both sides combined do 1000 drones a day and have about 1000 deaths a day too
>>
>>535124538
That's counterintuitive. You want to give the soldier a way to fend himself against drones so he can force the enemy to use more drones against him. That is if your goal is to make your enemy expend ammo. I feel like the logical conclusion of this war will be to build massive tank sheds that can tank 50 drone attacks before being immobilized. It will have be worth the price if it gets to that point. But Idk how you can apply this philosophy to the average grunt. EW seems pretty useless these days (might be survivorship bias)
>>
>>535124466
Ironically you say this
A mutt company tries to shill them against thermal mavics
>>
>>535124694
Shotguns are not anti-drone wunderwaffe you literal fucking retard. These Ukrainian FPV drones fly at like 70km MINIMUM.
>>
>>535124742
if you arm a soldier well, he might turn those arms against you
those are forced conscripts
the war is logistical
>>
>>535124179
Netgun is a crappy idea.
We already have autoshotguns and they already produce special anti drone pellets. Special barrels with no choke ensure a generous spread. If you get the angle just more or less right, like Ivanski in the vid, there should be several wide clouds of anti-drone pellets covering a cone-shaped tunnel in between the soldier and the drone.
The netgun *nets* you one chance, which psychologically already puts you at a huge disadvantage. You're firing under massive stress where people like to go full autoham, which works with the autoshotty but makes nerfgun use untenable.

even if you land pellets on the drone and break it, unless you trigger the explosive the drone will still hit you, because of inertia

Get a bunch of those life size cardboard standups of Hulk Hogan or somebody. Put one up when you hear the drone and hide. Russkis attack high priority Real American. idk just spitballing here

Why are these retards even sending men to war with useless 20th century weapons? They should all just be working on building interceptor drones and auto-targeting shotguns that can detect and spot drones for miles.

Just shoot it down further away then? Or break it up with your shotgun blast. It's not rocket science
>>
>>535124694
As explicated, autoshotguns is the best we currently have but introducing wide ranging reforms is difficult for a big, corrupt imperial army like Russia's. You need
>to leverage the whole pipeline of tech development with moneys
>extensive testing
>some new training course or curriculum, maybe even a school for a designated anti drone squad member
>getting the contracter to produce small arms in real numbers and shipping them to the various barracks and arsenals
At every step, Russian officials and officers will undermine this process especially since we're talking about small arms.
>>
>>535125244
Great idea, and how you gonna do that?
Do you have portable radar? NO?
how are going to detect multiple drones by sound, you can tell they are there, you track one, but you can't track multiple

>>535125158
not necessarily because of the nature of multiple rotors. The hit has to be relatively clean. We've seen guys surviving explosions which impacted 1-2 meter next to them.
Most of these FPV drones explode on impact or follow a protocol which by design needs a relatively intact frame. If you damage it enough, it cannot deliver the accuracy it needs.

sure, and all armies will do that, but maybe the two most important facts about 21 century infantry is:
>you still need those boots (sorry moishe!)
>morale is terrible if troopers get chased around by buzzing gadgets who explode them into a variety of wet giblets
An anti drone trooper is first and foremost an important morale booster, like a medic
