There may be a little built immunity for those who inhabit regions near the hot spots. This has been documented with other viruses.>I have heard anons mention that with the Andes strain (have not seen it sourced) that there is a short period of mild illness when exposed to this virus which goes away during incubation period, but then the symptoms can come back and lead to death shortly after. This is what seemed to have happened with the American replacement ship doctor. But he has now tested seronegative. Not sure what to make of that.>Also of interest is the issue of asymptomatic transmission. We know it can occur 2 days before symptom onset for sure. But is that the whole story?
