Hi guys, I just got an idea of a theoretical way to survive hantavirus (btw. I'm not a doctor of any kind).

As far as I know, the problem is like this: After the infection, the virus incubates 1-2 months with only minor symptoms, then in 24-48 hours the patient collapses and a fight for life and death begins, where about 30%-40% dies. Why is that? Because the virus suppresses the immune system and thus spreads without detection until it's everywhere.

So how we can trigger the immune system in time? I don't know, but I have an idea: Allergies. Almost everyone of us has allergies. Allergic reactions are immune system going haywire, right?

So, if you suspect that you have a hanta infection, you can try to trigger your allergic reactions like there's no tomorrow. Of course don't do anything stupid, anything you know is lethal for you, but as far as you know you can survive the allergic reaction, you can try it. Perhaps this makes the immune system to notice the hantavirus, perhaps not. At least you can try, what's there for you to lose?

So let's go out, eat well and enjoy the fragrances of nature!

With all the shameless glowie derailing going on in here it’s actually more and more believable that the plan is at the very least to pozz and exterminate most of Argentina and put everybody else on a permanent digi id lockdown, so that they can build bunkers for their glowie overlords in what is going to be declared a no man’s land due to what they will claim is an endless population of pozzed rats.

What worries me are the questions not asked, which is screaming incompetence:

- Quarantined peoples urine and feces end up in the canalisation, infect rodents there which creates secondary vectors for a pandemic?

- Do we have asymptomatic infection during the 8 weeks incubation period?

- Is "self isolation on free will" with "walks allowed" the right measure for a virus with 38% CFR, r0 of 2,12, 8 weeks incubation period?

They are all retards that will kill us. Can someone write them some emails?

Just ask it repeatedly but I think urine one is very important. It might be biggest source of infection between humans. If it was truly airborne much more of ship would been infected. And like reports said people hugged wife after her husband died so more than 10+ should be positive now. I wonder if we can concentrate to see if the infections only spread in one ship

You were right. I rephrased my questions now with Perplexity to get the tone right. Was in a hurry before.

Maybe copy + paste them for the next meeting. I'm really concerned they just did some fondling themselves and praising but ignored anything of relevance.

The questions:

Could shedding of infectious virus in the urine or feces of infected individuals lead to contamination of wastewater systems and subsequent infection of peridomestic rodents, with the establishment of a secondary animal reservoir or a spillback transmission pathway?

Is asymptomatic or subclinical infection documented during the incubation period, and does infectiousness begin before symptom onset, implying a latent period shorter than the incubation period?

For a virus with a case-fatality ratio of 38%, a basic reproduction number of 2.12, and an incubation period of up to eight weeks, is voluntary home isolation with permitted outdoor activity likely to be an adequate control measure, or would stricter quarantine and case isolation be indicated?

And if wife did use bathroom on airplane , airport or on st Helen then it's reasonable that we might see cases from those in next few days. Good luck on your career. I lost my pops years back and it sucks watching my mom get older but I do what I can. It easy to get lost in the day to day worries and take things for granted so I always try to take a step back and show gratitude to my family and friends.

Of course they are, which infuriates me. It makes so much sense to find preventative treatment and early disease treatment. But, HCQ and Ivermectin will not make the pharmajew any money, or please the lockdown jew.

Yep. They do mention a few non-vaccine antivirals, but it's maddening that they make NO mention of basic diet and behavior changes.

I don't like how they define success with the whole MRNA vaccine fascination. I also don't like how they changed the definition of herd immunity and vaccine in the middle of the game. Point being, ugh, I am just not gonna take it. BTW, does anyone have the vaccine definition change screencap? I am missing that one.

Man, the devolution of language is really something special. I collect old dictionaries just to explore this phenomena. It seems to be speeding up too. One minute there will be an addition to the vernacular which will perfectly distill a societal phenomena and then a couple of months later it will simply mean "someone I don't like". I am drunk so my chosen example is "incel" though there are much better ones.

Reminder we got lockdowns for Covid:
>only killed boomers

Reminder we will not get lockdowns for Hantavirus:
>40% CFD, much higher once the ICUs are full and ECMOs all taken
>R0 of at least 2, comparable infectiousness to Covid
>spreads before symptoms appear, incubation period is up to 6 weeks
>kills all age groups including young healthy adults and children

... because it would have inconvenienced infected cruise ship boomers to stay home

Reminder:
The Dutch birdwatching entushiast did not get infected in Ushuaia. Ushuaia has never had a single documented case or hantavirus.
His birdwatching app stats show he was in Salta (northern argrentina) in February, which does have Hanta cases every year.
The new timeline is much more consistent with a longer incubation period.

This means patient zero probably infected A LOT MORE PEOPLE while travelling from Salta to Ushuahia. This is probably all over Argentina by now.

It's cold here and the symptoms look like typical seasonal flu, so doctors and emergency rooms have 0 reason to suspect a pandemic is going on, or to even test patients.

This is very obvious info, the fact that they're not even trying to track contacts before Ushuaia means that this is being actively suppressed to avoid canceling the world cup

I disagree
have been monitoring from the outset
all the data points to a conclusive outcome
there will be an outbreak
might not be this one but the retarded way its being handled puts the odds in its favour
the changes in the virus at source, the spread of the contagion area, the higher fatality, all point to a fundamental change somewhere

its happening

I agree that the deliberate mistreatment of this virus points to foul play but until I start seeing normie news publications crying over how many cases there are, it's going to be a nothingburger for me. We're 77 threads deep without an ACTUAL happening.

For the casual observer and someone legit trying to catch up, essentially everything can be boiled down to what happens with secondary infections (people who were not on cruise ship). This virus has demonstrated a high capability for person to person transmission.

There were quite a few passengers released who were likely exposed to this virus who were released when most health "experts" either had not caught on to H2H transmission with this variant, or they were saying prolonged and close contact. These released passengers have since traveled and dispersed worldwide. Point being, according to anon's calculations based on exposure windows, secondary cases should start appearing around May 19 and later. The number of these cases will give an inkling of how bad this could get. And the likelihood that there were no secondary infections is much greater than 0. South Africa is of great interest.

>At the Port of Rotterdam, 23 temporary cabins are being set up to receive the international crew of the cruise ship Hondius. It has not yet been decided whether they will stay there for the full mandatory six-week quarantine, but authorities are considering that scenario. The Rotterdam-Rijnmond GGD will carry out tests on the crew and medical personnel upon arrival.

This has changed, a couple of days ago they were all going to a hotel to stay

if shit goes pear-shaped and the reason for it (rampant leadership incompetence) lies bare it's much worse than being able to shrug it off with pandemic related difficulties

There are also reports that there was an illness going as around the cruise ship, by much earlier than the current wave of cases.

If this is true then 1) probably we will not be able to contain the spread, but 2) mortality rate must be much lower than we thought.

These are some interesting points that I keep seeing pop up:
>We can't forget that a certain percent of people will get this virus/be exposed and shrug it off. There may be a little built immunity for those who inhabit regions near the hot spots. This has been documented with other viruses.
>I have heard anons mention that with the Andes strain (have not seen it sourced) that there is a short period of mild illness when exposed to this virus which goes away during incubation period, but then the symptoms can come back and lead to death shortly after. This is what seemed to have happened with the American replacement ship doctor. But he has now tested seronegative. Not sure what to make of that.
>Also of interest is the issue of asymptomatic transmission. We know it can occur 2 days before symptom onset for sure. But is that the whole story? Unknown at this point but will probably be answered later.
