Really, how developed is China compared to the west? I see so many people shilling for China it's hard to get an accurate picture. They seem technologically on par with the US but for the rest and the future of the country it's hard to tell.

Trump has accelerated America's decline. EU can't come together, and likely never will be able to because of too many economic and political differences between the various cultures and countries. China is absolutely winning. They're developing at break-neck pace. It's still a pretty garbage place, but they have way more longevity, a greater vision, and are unified. US has none of this. I expect China to also crack the fusion problem before anyone else. If they do that, they'll control a monopoly on the world's best fuel supply.
