I used to live in a shitty apartment and one of my neighbors was an Air Force veteran. She actually did several combat tours and when she was about to be discharged she told me she was encouraged by her CO to list as many mental disorders and she could to claim benefits. She said she had depression, insomnia, PTSD, anxiety, and all kinds of shit even though she didn't and she immediately qualified for like $2500 a month tax free for life plus an allowance for housing and free doctor visits and prescriptions at the VA in addition to all the GI Bill shit.
