About 20% of the world's oil has suddenly been taken off the market and has been off the market for months now. Once the strait opens again it'll take months or even years to get the oil flowing at the same rate again, and it actually probably will never flow at quite the same rate it did before. That doesn't just impact gas prices, it's also a ton of other things like helium and fertilizer which uses nitrates that are gathered from oil byproducts. The fertilizer in particular is a big deal, since the supply shortage on fertilizer right as the planting season comes means that global crop yields in the harvest season are going to be substantially smaller than they were before the war. We're talking about a contraction in the global food supply severe enough to cause mass death by starvation in developing nations like India. That's probably already baked in, nothing can be done anymore since the crops are already going into the ground without enough fertilizer. This is all on top of the massive recession the economy was due to face to correct for the malinvestment caused by inflation and credit manipulation by central banks.

It will definitely get spicy in india and pakistan. They arent rich enough to outbid other cunts for fertiliser and oil shipments. You take away 20% of the worlds fertiliser and oil and india is the place that goes without. A billion people in india only works with most eating rice and lentils and gobbling cheap pharmacuticals to fight disease in their cesspit living conditions. Even a 30% loss of crop yields will mean disease and starvation on a massive scale. Whats sad is that noone actually cares. America wont give a shit and china will gladly give token shipments in exchange for the disputed border regions.
