Its similar to migraine symptoms in this way, even though the person suffering from it hasnt actually consumed anything posionous, your bbody interprets that pain as meaning "youve been poisoned, we need to throw whatever this is up". These REALLY are the 'flu like symptoms' they keep talking about. But as you can see, these symptoms are incredibly vague. Also, when people hear 'flu like' they imagine coughing and sneezing, but coughing and sneezing actually arent a part of the first phase, because both coughing and sneezing are immune responses where youre body is trying to expel the virus particles out of your body so they cant keep infecting your cells.
