If a woman only has 1 kid, some other woman must have 3 to compensate for that. It can be no other way. Less than 2.1 and our species faces extinction. All must participate. But, even more important than that... if we could somehow ignore those not participating, then at the very minimum, the absolute least they (gays) could do is to refrain from interfering with those who will reproduce.
