He was kind of just a grifter. When he died, goobers like Ezra Klein fell all over themselves to say shit like "he was doing politics right," just because part of his routine involved talking to people instead of just running a podcast (but he did that, too, kek) like the rest of them.

It's just a total ignorance of what he did. The "debates" were just mines for a shortform-to-podcast scheme. There's a reason why everyone below like 25 knows who he was -- a generation of lonely kids grew up watching his videos. They developed parasocial relationships with him to the point where, despite the fact that he's just manipulating perception, he was a parasocial object.

To get a little faggy for a second, Charlie was the head node of young ultranationalist hyperreality. That was his function -- to translate this new parasocial relationship into political leverage on behalf of the weird Christian billionaires who funded and created him.

Anyway, his legacy is the same as Joe Rogan's, more or less. Just a totally inconsequential nobody whose ability to leverage social media was greater than any other accomplishment or skill he ever had. That's it.

I mean, plenty of people have done detailed analysis on his debates. We know he uses dishonest tactics, it's not subtle.

Whenever his tour went to ivy league schools, they wouldn't allow anyone to film the ineractions, because he falls apart whenever he's debating someone who knows what they're talking about. They intentionally do this so the illusion of his performance doesn't break for the broader audience.

Looking at history, currently ancient world in my case, I find it interesting that the conciousness of the individual in all the different meanings seemed to be above ours, despite us possessing better technology, we have socially degraded. Although Serbia is a shithole this is true in the west too, and especially, falling from the greater heights.
I was reading about Rome yesterday (never did so before, because I was attracted to other things) concerning the period of "seven" Roman kings, the formation of Republic and it's early period. And I was amazed at how the plebians operated when it came to elites. Ok, you do not like something? Bulk of your army that's made of plebians will simply go outside and camp until you wise up. Tyrant ruler? We will force Tribunes onto you with the ability to veto (later they also elected the Tribunes themselves).
Past year or two in my life I also noticed the way my country fights the government (it doesn't). The government doesn't care about the protests, and it even welcomes the violent ones, yet people are solely focused on that. Nobody is refusing to pay taxes, the military is lazily sitting in the barracks, because the modern times are also not times of constant warfare and expansion like before, so they are irrelevant anyways, nobody knows how to fight for the rights because government only got more organised with the plebians unable to catch up.

Anyways kinda unrelated or related I just started going off from the notion that we lost common sense and these days people are arguing about the most obvious things and we are caught in sort of paralysis as individuals and collectives about how to navigate through.

>We need an expert to tell us that the sky is blue because they're an expert and you're not
I joke that if it rained outside, and you said it's raining, 20-50% of people would just disagree with you. Everything is now suddenly a bipartisan issue because people's thoughts are dilluted and form nothing of substance. For fucks sake, many of people in the west still think we should have immigration from completely, completely foreign people and that it's a good thing, and nobody asks why we fell into this shit in the first place, because if you asked why you would inevitably come to the conclusion that the system is rotten.

These days professors can't even keep the classroom functional. Adults cannot discipline CHILDREN which is something unprecedented for millions of years.

Nah, common sense has never meant anything really. It doesn't represent the objective truth or popularity of an idea. It just means a person had an idea, and believes it's common/obvious, irrespective of whether it actually is or not.
>>
>>535312252
The classical ancients knew what "give unto Ceasar what is his" meant. Modern society has succumbed to the wills of the senate. In America when you enter into state and local courthouses you see idles of senators and congressman dressed up as demigods and worshipped. They teach government as if they were teaching about the saints.
>>
proof that "right wing" grifters are only allowed mainstream media attention while they shill for israel
>>
>>535312432
If it's not true then it cannot be common sense. It is for example common sense to not try to work out 12 hours a day because that's simply ridiculous and unfeasible, it's common sense to keep your hygiene (ancients also knew this but had wrong notions about the spread of disease through foul air), it's common sense to sleep every night, it's common sense to not steal and it is despised in every culture, it's common sense to not drink and drive, common sense should imply wisdom that transcends cultural and every barrier. I guess you can make the argument that it does shift over time, but common sense is usually never unhealthy, even if it's not right on the point.
>>
>>535312588
>If it's not true then it cannot be common sense.

>>

>>
>>535312649
>Common sense is when a general idea is arrived by most people independently of eachother.
It's often the case that people using the term "common sense" don't actually know if it's common. They believe it's common, but there's no evidence that it is.

It's also often the case that a population will develop "common sense" around fallacious or false ideas. It's pretty common for humans to believe complete bullshit at scale.
>>
>>535312629
Most common sense derives from evolutionary pressures and is not infact logical at all. Common semse is more often than not pathological, but because it evolved from evolutionary pressures it is often the beneficial to the continuation of the species.

Be fruitful and prosper is just common sense.

Exactly the so called "Moral right" will hide the epstein files, blow up children, move molesting clergy to another state, and force your wife to die in child birth. They don't want a representative government they want a dictatorship. Conservatives took away regulations that made owning single family homes too expensive to profit from. They sold uour american dream to wallstreet hide pedophiles in your communities and want to keep you poor and compliant. Death to the moral right and their god.

Exactly.
like a said here>>535312792
Common sense is pathological and is infact most often times wrong and disadvantageous to the individual, but because it is advantageous to the species as a whole it works.

A good example of common sense is emission theory

Thing is natural substances have stood the test of time for thousands or hundreds of years. New things have not. If I wanted to take a new synthesised drug from a laboratory it would most likely go very bad for me. If I wanted to take a mushroom that shamans used for thousands of years, I have a much higher chance of being fine.
Natural doesn't imply healthy, but something being part of a folk practice for thousands of years at least implies it has some good reason to be there, as it was crucial to well-being and survival and would have been phased out if it didn't suit on the lowest possible denominator.

Things get very very weird the deeper you get into evolutionary consciousness.

>Thing is natural substances have stood the test of time for thousands or hundreds of years. New things have not.
huh?
>If I wanted to take a new synthesised drug from a laboratory it would most likely go very bad for me.
It depends entirely on the drug.
> If I wanted to take a mushroom that shamans used for thousands of years, I have a much higher chance of being fine.
Again, this depends entirely on the substance you're taking. You can eat poisonous berries and have a much higher chance of dying than if you took an aspirin synthesized in a lab. What's so confusing about this lol

You spewed so much shit
let's break some stuff down
Why is Ezra Klein in this at all? Were they close friends? Were they podcasting together? Were they even in the same room as one another at any point in time? Had they even shared a hello with one another at any point in time?

The fact that you start with this jew makes me believe you are paid to write this post.

Your next paragraph is all about how he was cultivating a parasocial relationship with his viewers because he was posting tiktok videos of him on college campuses. This is your most grounded argument, but it still lacks common sense. Everyone who is building a social media empire is trying to post on every avenue and app.

Next paragraph this is where I pretty much realized that you were paid to post here.
You used a more socially acceptable "faggy" instead of just writing plainly. You wrote this to seem like you were a "4channer" But, there was no reason to even write it. It makes the sentence worse. Then you spew out some crap right after it that makes no sense.
>young ultranationalist hyperreality
You just strung up random words with no meaning or baring to nationalism.

My guess is that you are a jew from daily wire who was fired and now working on one of these shill farm projects.
