Why isn't the present day the eternal paradise Millenial Fair that I was promised when I was playing Chrono Trigger in my childhood home living room on a CRT screen in the Summer of 1995?Why is everything like the bad world destroyed post Lavos world? Why is the mall that had the arcade I played Street Fighter II at now demolished and replaced with low-income apartments?I thought I had fought and won to prevent this future?

>>535311509Understandable. It was a SSS game when it released but I'd say it hasn't aged perfectly and I say that as someone who played it 1000x as a kid in the 90s. It drags horribly the first time you go to the prehistoric area. It always makes me want to quit on repeat playthroughs. Outside of that though its really tightly paced and no dungeon (outside of the shitty prehistoric one) or area feels like it goes on for too long or has filler for the sake of making the game longer. You can finish the whole game pretty fast, about 20 hours for a first playthrough. I wish modern games would value quality over quantity the same as CT does.
>>535311329kill yourself today elsa
>>535311509Milennial here with Gen A kids.It actually sucks that you guys have such advanced games. (but the industry is now repetative poison and all things have been invented)In these old story based rpgs with 'ok' graphics, your imagination filled in a lot of the space involved in the story.More like reading a book on steroids. it was also in a more dull world than today of instant gratification and advanced technologyAnyway, it kind of sucks for the next generation to not have this imaginative fill in for these epic titles. Its also something of the death of imagination that will trickle into the next years.I highly suggest a lot of 'videos' off time for your kids if you end up having any. Stress imaginative play in the real world.
>>535310406You were living in the Millenial Fair eternal paradise in 1995 but it wasn't quite paradise and it ended too soon.

>>535310406Because we stopped fighting. It is like after ww2 the player quit the game and just let the NPC nations do their thing, they all elected socialists, opened the borders, gave up on trad values and raising families and merged with all the brown people. The game quickly gets boring in sandbox mode. Humans needs struggle. The paradise is struggle. It is like /fit says, you either experience the pain of working out, jogging every morning and abstain from the gratification of pizza, candy and donuts, or you experience the pain of being a fat disgusting lardass. Some imagine we can genetically modify ourselves to never experience pain, or numb it constantly with drugs, but this is only really justified if you have terminal bone cancer or something. A little pain is good, a little pain is how our mind works, not the excruciating pain where you totally lose control, the pain of being out of breath, the pain of slightly aching muscles, the pain of being a little hungry while knowing it means you are losing fat.Similarly there is psychological pain. The pain of being humiliated and ostracized by normies for standing up for what is right, knowing a few people in the crowd realize that all you are doing is stating facts. The pain of having to remember your tradwife's anniversary and take the kids to soccer practice, waking up in the middle of the night to check on a crying baby, the extra work to earn the money to pay for diapers. You have to learn to purge your teenage brattyness and your bachelor laziness, not wasting hours on porn and video games. If she is a faithful chaste christian tradwife it means instead of being a prostitute for rich men in her youth, flying to dubai to get pooped on so she can afford to party every night, she married you, she is an absolute gem you should cherish.

>>535323836To be fair it cost over $150 in its day, which inflation adjusted is even more than $250, because it used the largest ROM chip of any Super Famicom game, and to a significant extent the games were costed by size in megabits.

>>535310406It blows my mind they never remake this game
>>535325137Actually yeah I might have done some poor math, since it was DM prices back then, not Euros, which would mean half as much, and 150/2 is 75.
thats so true bestie
Read Jacques Ellul. Technology was a Faustian bargain and the devil’s come to collect his due.
>>535325326Thank the yellow kikes from Nintendo. They have ruined an attempt at fan remake in 2010 with lawsuit threats.EA and other publishers got a fair share of well deserved hate, but it's disturbing to not see any towards Nintendo. It's hard to describe what kind of toxic cunts they really are.
>>535312047The world of Chrono Trigger is way richer and deeper than that of any modern game. The sense of wonder that comes from good storytelling goes 1000x further than a bunch of polygons that developers put into a game.
>>535325429The irony is far greater than that and the problem is simply idealism.A great majority of inventors were idealists. They did their research and inventions for the benefit of mankind.>now look how that worked out>producing a literal techno-dystopiaVirtually none of those who created these things had that in mind or as their goal.Turns out it's entirely about how technology and science are employed or used. It's not bad in itself by any means. What's bad is the people ultimately using it.That's also what Kaczynski failed to understand. Technology isn't bad, and can in fact accomplish a huge amount of good.>but fuck that, let's exploit the absolute shit out of everything and everybody
>>535325817Much like in literature a lack of graphics can even be a great boon.Graphics can be great in their own right, but the real depth stems from narrative, be it in visual arts, music, storytelling or even emotion as such. Simply evoking a feeling is mediocre. It requires context to blossom fully, and if this is not provided people need room to discover this context in themselves. That's also a reason why a lot of modern storytelling is ass; it tells you what to think too directly, too on the nose, patronising, instead of letting you interprete it yourself (which may result in wrongthink). Now of course the common cattle masses these media are geared towards may not be capable of such interpretation, which means it is low art, like a fart joke.

>>535315686>>535326256>what if Lavos is actually Magus(this is a joke, to a degree)But it's not like Lavos was evil in itself. Just hungry and procreating, and the game already came close to such themes, that people aren't necessarily better than that, a little Lavos in themselves.Your prompting may have been a bit over-ambitious, since obviously the AI can't quite write something on the level of Tolkien. Better to tell it to keep its writing basic, straight forward and broad; its attempts at flowery prose tend to be very painful.
>>535315783(((Magus))) infiltrated the Mystics as one of their own and waged war against the kingdom of Guardia卐 with the goal to summon an apocalyptic beast.
>>535326862*Mystics (peace be upon them)
The thing is, like games, malls back then catered to everyone. Games always seem to focus on specific audiences rather than making something for everyone to enjoy. Malls only cater to kids, women, and niggers. There is little reason for me to visit my local mall and it’s technically not dead.Look at The Sims franchise as an example. The original game was meant for everyone from a man sitting in an office, a woman at hair salon, or a heavy construction worker. It took the Sim City players into consideration. Now the franchise, especially with newer sequels, focuses on catering to women and LGBT. Around the end of The Sims 2, they wanted the Second Life audience. Then it was the Tumblr audience. You can go to a shopping mall that isn’t dead, even a large one, and not leave with anything. It’s nothing but clothing stores for women and teenagers. What’s a man gonna do? Buy another pair of dress pants from Macy’s? Sketchers like a grandpa? Meanwhile, the majority of stores are for teenagers such as Hot Topic, PacSun, Spencer’s, Zuimez, etc and everything else for women. And that’s just clothing. Where’s the hardware shop? The computer parts store? A shop to buy an interesting boots? Perhaps a gun shop? What about a store in the mall that sells fishing gear? Maybe a shop that sells fabrics and crafts like Michael’s? You won’t even find a bar at the mall. But you WILL find a pretzel stand and look like an old man waiting for his wife to finish shopping. Can I, as a grown man go to a mall and look for girls? No. I’d be put on a sex offender registry. Can I, as a grown man in his 30s find a pair of clothing that isn’t basic job interview shit? Or should I go into one of the teen stores and look like I have autism? Can I, as a grown man, go into a mall and find good food? Best I got is a Red Robin’s loaded with salt, or a Panda Express loaded with salt. Maybe a pretzel loaded with salt. Or a Mexican burrito loaded with salt and grease.
>>535326862>with the goal to summon an apocalyptic beastSpoiler, but>to kill it in revengeHe sure wasn't about to repeat his mother's mistake. Not that he even ended up in that timeline on purpose. >>535310406You're just off by a few dozen years. This world needs to collapse first, and it will within the next decade.
>>535311808The whole time travel mechanic was pretty amazing but it definitely has some parts that kinda stretch, yea.Once you get into the more ugly areas imo especially, the atmosphere isn't as frivolous and intriguing as the start anymore.

>>535327504Why would this change anything? You think the cattle had no opportunity to escape the ranch before? If anything the rancher's tools got far more sophisticated and cattle domesticated further. There's no hope for them; they exist to be controlled, and even if the philosopher king comes along it's not going to last, just like it didn't last in the past.
>>535327645Better off getting a cheap SFC and a FXpak Pro.
>>535327645Protip if someone wants to replay this, make sure to get a patched version of Chrono Trigger, else the game will stop at the teleporter, at least when played on an emulator.I don't remember if it was the same on a hacked 3DS as well but I think yes.I might actually try the game again fairly soon because I have to do some stuff in another town and I won't have a PC with me.
>>535310406I too wish people were 2D sprites with text boxes
>>535327645Why would you even want to play on the original console considering emulators make absolutely everything better, without changing the experience if you so wish. Nostalgia in itself is pretty pathetic.>I want to push the Super Famicom's hecking plastic switcherino!Same is true with PS1 and 2, and everything else from that era. Additionally you don't have to deal with the hardware dying of old age.I admit it might be different with handhelds though, like a Gameboy or PSP, since an emulator definitely won't have the same feel to it.
>>535327833And don't forget to stay the fuck way from the PS1 version.
>>535327645I don't understand people's obsession with getting all this old crap physical and paying out of the ass for it. You can't even make the case for the "authentic experience" since they've long had cycle accurate emulators.
>>535327409>to kill it in revengeTrue. Almost forgot about that.Spoiler:That was slick how the developers gave the impression it was a non/barely sentient being simply going through a planetary-scale feeding and reproduction cycle up until the end of the game. They hinted to it having intelligence, but focused on others using its powers. It made the revenge seem pointless at the time. Like Ahab and the White Whale
>>535327892because it's neat
>>535310406Nostalgia. It seems e didnt fight hard enough against evil and now evil has spreads like cancer. Evil lulled too many into obedience, scared too many into complying. Brave souls that tried to fight nonetheless got killed like flies. Now they farm our souls.

>>535328186>>535328225Sure, but it's nothing worth worrying about, especially once the hardware fails, which it does eventually, and you'll seem like a huge manchild if you overdo, with a CRT and console collection as your living room centerpiece, which I'm not saying you do, but some people certainly do.Seems like a viable business opportunity though, like opening a retro arcade. That way you'll have an excuse to collect all that crap en masse and totally obsess about authenticity. No problem having it stand around somewhere, but it can quickly drift from gaming concerns to living in the past - although I guess everybody ends up living in the past eventually. >>535323081You sound like a jew faggot. Or worse, a jeet. Honestly I blame the faggots and the jews and the niggers for ruining malls. The reason why people don't go to malls anymore is the fact that they are hunting grounds for wild niggers looking to knockout game someone for street cred. Because nothing says badass like sneaking up on someone and striking them from behind. I'm sur ein places where there are no niggers malls still operate. Like in Rhode Island or Main or something. Oh wait, they fucking do!To speak of glutton and overwhelmingly sweet while nostalgizing the mall is utter lunacy and you should probably self reflect unless you're a jew vampire. At which point I feel sorry that you have to go to hell because you lack the ability to feel shame or do any sort of humble self reflection.

>>535310406One of the best games of all time
>>535329336This is the second best bargain bin find of all time. The only time it was exceeded was when I found Xenogears in a bargain bin for $10 and bought it.
>>535312061The fair only lasts for one day, once per millennium. That's what 1995 was
>>535329207If you have it mapped out to this extent you should probably write a proper story.Writing is pretty much all I care about doing these days, although it has become kinda chaotic; ought to start using some proper creative writing software and organise all that crap.AI can definitely be helpful too, but it's not something you can rely on; it produces mediocrity. Can help fill gaps or provide inspiration/suggestions though.
>>535329718I generally use DeepSeek for AI, not Gemini. It's a gamble, but it sometimes produces something awesome. But there are a few tricks to prompting correctly that most people don't know how to do. I remember reading an article once about how Stanford killed prompt engineering; the author was upset because he kept asking the AI for jokes and the AI always told the same joke about coffee filing a police report because it got mugged. But then he tried asking for a list of jokes and the AI gave many different jokes, and he treated this as some kind of huge epiphany. I think a lot of people just have bad AI skills, so they think AI sucks. And to be fair, some AI does suck, like ChatGPT, but a lot of it is just people not knowing how to use it.
>>535311509>spoiled by modern vidyaThen go wash the taste of jeet shit out of your mouth and play a real video game.
>>535329346>You can buy the best weapons and armour in game at any point and stil have more than enough money left over to just buy whateverNah, that's definitely not true. The best stuff is mostly from those anachronistic hidden chests that can be quite effortful to find or open. Most of what you can buy is only mediocre and 80% of the time not worth the money, for which you can easily compensate by overleveling though, meaning you never actually need the peak quality gear except to be a pretty cool guy.
>>535310406Because it's fiction and there are far too many browns to allow that to happen.
>>535330124Did you ever get Ayla's Bronze Fist?
>>535310406You were, back in the 90s. If you played Radical Dreamers you'd know the government imploded by about 1010 in the 1000 AD victory timeline.Sometimes the future refuses to change.
>>535329992You are correct, possibly more so than you realise. Most people can't write prompts worth shit, and AI very much follows the "stupid question > stupid answer" logic. The output will only be as good as your input. But it's mostly a time saver; a huge one on occasion. Could have written and researched virtually everything it came up with on my own, but this would have taken very significantly longer than it took me to prompt it out of the AI.Also a matter of playing to its strengths; it's legit good in some areas, impressive, but falls flat in others.
>>535330301In the PSX version they say Guardia falls in 1005 AD.
>>535329992AI is nothing more than software that can be used as a tool. If you are ridiculously lazy and uncreative then maybe it will seem to suck if it doesn't magically shit out the most perfect and elaborate masterpieces from your garbage prompts. What's interesting is how powerful it can be for those who use it correctly and that the limiting factor is mostly how little imagination people have. It's useless in the hands of someone with a calcified fluoride brain.
>>535330124I meant the best weapon when you get to a new era Like you can buy all the new weapons and armor when you reach the apocalyptic future from the vendor for the first time and still have chash to burn In DQ you have to plan more carefully what you buy when you reach a new town you usually have to priotitys getting youre fighter a new weapon or new piece of armour >>535330271No i usually finish the game at lv 50 or so and never had the need to grind up to the point where you get the Bronze fistOnly use i had for Ayla was the falcon strike which takes care of most enemys in the game
>>535329207If you think its about generations that did ill per se, youll find out that evil works in generations while we do not and thats why we are weak and helpless one day. Each generation gets tricked into obedience and not helping other generations but hating them, the tricks just differ.
>>535330271That's a pretty damn specific question, but I might have, getting cap damage wasn't too unusual towards the end of the game.I'm not sure when I last played it, but probably around a decade ago, 2014 maybe, and I tried hard to gearmax, missing only a few chests I couldn't figure out.
>>535310406I still play that game, then i get horny and i goon. What does that mean? Did someone rape me when i played chrono trigger? Or Chrono triggers my goon instinct? Chrono-Cronos-Kronos. Trigger-rigger-nigger. Black cube im coming to steal your goon energy and you'll die.

>>535330485>It's useless in the hands of someone with a calcified fluoride brain. So basically 80% of the planet then.>>535330557Falcon Hit is one of the best dual techs in the game. Chrono had a lot of great mechanics like dual techs and triple techs that have barely ever been seen in other series.

>>535310406Unfortunately, niggers, pakis and jeets cause more societal damage than Lavos. That's why we're here today.
>>535332655>Looking back at media from the 90s makes me puke in disgust1998 was the major turning point where full degen culture took over, 95/96 were still pure times, the most degenerate stuff going on were underground raves of 100% white audiences, compared to today, they were boy scoutsThis type of music was on track to be mainstream before jews usurped music industry with gangster nigger ape culture, filmed in Germany, early 90's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5meq45Hj7I
>>535332441Yeah, they basically killed off almost every character from Trigger. Of course they undid it all with time shenanigans in the end. But too many playable characters was definitely an issue, they should have kept it to the characters that are actually important to the story instead of having dozens of literally whos.>>535332837In Ocarina of Time they used the moon-and-star symbol for the Gerudo and the Islamic chant for the Fire Temple, which they replaced in later versions of the game. >>535333402>The only reason hip-hop took over is because white people stopped paying for musicNot true, Jews made sure gangster rap took over, they had already made billion dollar deals with prison industry complex to fill up those prisons and gangster rap was chosen to do the job. The 90's had white music that scared Jews such as Eurodance which I have linked, highly uplifting music and also nu-metal which scared them deeply after Woodstock 99 saw white youth act coordinated in rage, that's when they pulled the plug on all white artforms and pushed niggers. There has been nothing but niggers in mainstream music since early 2000's

>>535332655In the US, people were finally living in a network of efficiency and kindness you could only dream of Anon. New York was a hotspot of innovation and networking that rivaled Tokyo and Beijing, it still is in certain places, but with the birth of the internet it couldn't compete against a decentralized network of commerse. It is now a glorified server farm. Even Vegas, and if the Free Market keeps this up, the world will follow. The fair was made of people. >>535334055I guess I already mentioned it, and you already know, but I don't consider it a spoiler to point out for anybody planning to play for the first time that the special boxes sometimes give you the option after attempting to open them to instead leave what's inside. >>535311235I've played Chrono Cross, but not Chrono Trigger.
>>535335867The sci-fi themed anime was also pretty good and based at the time, as well as much of the vidya being sci-fi/fantasy.I remember my father pointing out that many of the themes and styles being presented went back to ideas from writers in the '60s-'70s, but the new media kept it fresh. The stream of good sci-fi entertainment seemed to run up until 2008-ish, when it was usurped by stale capeshit.
>>535336454I couldn't even get through Cross, but have played CT start to finish at least 30 times fwiw. Cross is just "final fantasy with some CT references" and it disappointed me.

>>535311509I think zoomers have in general been ruined by modern entertainment. I don’t mean that in a spoiled way, I mean being conditioned to a limit interaction if not immediately intuitive. I have noticed that younger people —those born after Y2K I’d say— seem to struggle with parsing texts or entertainment that’s not contemporary. Even as a kid I didn’t have that much trouble reading older works, or playing older games, but I cannot convince many younger friends or family to be interested in things not produced during their lifetimes. Sometimes it’s something that would be right up their alley, but they just cannot get engaged even if they try. It’s gotta suck to be a zoomer, and I don’t mean that as an insult.
>>535337217>I was misled as a kid into thinking DJ BoBo was cringe, but yeah the moral purity of his music almost makes me want to cry today.Jesus Christ how horrifying. That basically you're right, I mean.>DJ Bobo was a paragon of virtue
>>535335066Yeah the 90's were good. So were the 50's. Almost every other time period in history is tumultuous and challenging. Times like that are the exception rather than the rule. It's better just to appreciate what you have and always try to make things better instead of dwelling on the past because we don't know what the future will bring.

>>535310406Well thanks for inspiring me OP, I'm replaying it right now, had a very early save on my hacked 3DS (600AD) that I had prepared a couple years ago.I had it on my DS once and progressed a good bit but never finished the game so here we go.The soundtrack have a mean "insta-nostalgia" about them, like with many anime themed games.Love the desings by Akira Toriyama and the little anime scenes it has.
>>535337911>and you still complainThe outside world is hostile to whites, end stages of tikum olam, and you have the balls to say we shouldn't complain?
>>535337694I suspect the question amounts to:>who'd actually buy that?Assuming they keep the overall design and mechanics unchanged; it's too outdated yet complex for modern audiences. Now excuse my French but.. basically it would be more suited to a mobile adaption. If they change everything besides the story and general idea behind it.. it's kinda hit or miss; uncertain whether that would be an upgrade.Probably not a coincidence very few Super Famicom games were remade in any real capacity. There's also the matter of it being single player. Single player RPGs follow a certain uniform evolution with time, and Chrono Trigger doesn't really fit in there.

>>535338093It actually had one of the best soundtracks of the era, despite the modest Midi means of the time, but well, it's not hard to explain if you look at the lead developers and composers; it was essentially made by an all-star team.

>>535336654To me, Chrono Cross was to Chrono Trigger what Secret of Evermore was to Secret of Mana.Cross and Evermore were 2 of the few games I barely had interest in completing, yet they seem to have mostly positive reviews from gamers.
>>535338203Not that this is his fault. There were fast-paced games back in the day, but also very slow-paced ones that required a real measure of patience, insane patience even. Chrono Trigger definitely wasn't the most entertaining game of all time; it was mainly about depth and complexity. That's not for everyone to begin with. While there have been far more complex games, usually to their detriment, it still ranks highly in terms of depth. In fact I can't think of a whole lot of games playing on the same court. It never was a game for the raw unwashed masses.
>>535338276>I miss Squaresoft, absolutely insane how far this company has fallen.fr fr no cap, as the zoomers would say.
>>535338411Cocktail cabinets serve as real furniture and look baller as fuck. That display is HD1000000; you can't emulate it. Or any real arcade cab, esp ones with solid gimmicks a PC can't do, or pachinko. Seeing a bunch of basic bitch game consoles that coud literally be replaced by your phone just looks sad.
>>535310406The irony is that everything which brought that rosy memory you articulated is what precipitated this future you hate. Computers, and the communication between them, existed well before that 90s core memory, and it would improve in the 90s and supplant the future you wanted after the 90s, it was inevitable, you just didn't know it. So like Lavos, it was always there, just waiting, and like the 1999 event, now you know, but it's too late.

>>535338276Nope. The 3D scenes you saw was just a redo in their opinion of the 10 most iconic scenes from CT, not a complete remake.
>>535339612>Reality is my boomer parents sold off all my consoles and games, denying me an inheritance. Truly these people are worse than Lavos.
>>535310406Because you never grew up manchild. But I have the same memories. And secret of mana, FF3(6). I was near death once and my mind took me to the seasons forest in secret of mana.
>>535339803Anon, I swear this is a true story as well. My parents divorced. My dad gave all my stuff to my scummy drunk uncle (another boomer from hell) who was foaming at the mouth to pawn off my stuff. Litearlly working together to fuck over their children.
>>535339339It sold well back in the day when these games were in fashion and the number of gamers/sales relatively limited. Would you think it would have been a blockbuster in 2010 (assuming a contemporary adaption)? I'm very sure it would not have been, because the dimensions have changed, gamer community changed. Did people play Oblivion or Skyrim for its narrative depth?>lmaoNo, they bought it as an open world first person action adventure with a self insert-character. What games from that time can we even compare Chrono Trigger to? Shadowrun Returns? Which incidentally also had an SNES incarnation, but wasn't hugely successful even though it was a good game.It would have sold, but not made the bestseller list by a long shot.
>>535339861FF3(6) mentioned. My god the modern world totally discarded this epic title from existence. It was once one of the most fond titles in direct dispute with Chrono Trigger as the greatest RPG of all time.

>>535340802The (((video game industry))) And square enix or whoever the fuck that new queer is who released FF7 remaster, will absolutely ruin a remake of FF3(6) given the chance.I dont think they will allow it though, the entire story is about a clown that usurps an empire and destroys the world. They want to Disneyfy the entire FF realm, and that dark, nearly prophetic storyline isnt something that jewjap can possibly accomplish. It would be widely praised by everyone, and thats the problem.A story about direct government overthrow and genocides. HAha they wont do it.
>>535340569>They lacked the entire conceptualization of a futureVery nigger-like of them, niggers also have a poor understanding of time, which is why there are no niggers in Chrono Trigger.
>>535341190>A story about direct government overthrow and genocides. They still do those, XVI has you play as an outlaw going against the empire occupying your homeland. But they just have no coherent creative vision anymore because all the people who actually had a vision left the company.
>>535339339>>535340292Could also try to compare the situation to what happened to Final Fantasy, since that's a close analogue, and ignoring the fact the vast majority of jRPG franchises of this sort died out, while FF went through a rather drastic evolution; and not strictly for the better. Would Chrono Trigger work in the style of a modern FF game? Probably, but people likely wouldn't buy it for its original strengths, or it wouldn't stand out as much as it did in its own time.

>>535343204you meet a cool chick at the fair and are hanging out when your neighbor is displaying their new "crazy heckin science project" she made with her dadjust so happens that girl you met has a magic pendant and the teleporter science project sends her back in time. now you gotta follow her and save her and travel through the bleak dystopian (likely very real) future, and different parts of the past including the actually possibly somewhat real time period with a kingdom from 12,000 years ago during the last ice age, mideval times and time where dinosaurs and man coexisted not to spoil it but you also have to exploit those time travel destinations to do some magical trickery to pull off everything so that you can properly save the world from an eternal space horror world-eaternothing too crazy! honestly nothing even that crazy for sci fi fantasy stuff in the 90s at all. its just concentrated GOOD SHIT
>>535344460yes but the germoid (nothin personnel kid) was saying he wasn't going to have a PC with him. the anbernig's are perfect for travel

>>535312153This. Too many newfags.
>>535310406We're just here to feed and serve the parasite class.
>>535342913Something similar happened to me. I mist have been 12 or so at the time, walking the block from my bus stop. I see a paper bag just lying in a ditch. Curious kid, I look inside and it had what my mom informed me was 2,000$ in it after bringing it home. She tells me it's probably a drug drop and she has to turn it in to the police. Guess what never happened.
>>535345002Exactly, what else are you good for?You are not Tesla. You are not Shakespeare. There are millions of people identical to you. You are useless and disposable and easily replacable.
>>535344746If you don't buy a handheld with a case that provides those extra few cm of space for your fingers, like the pic related, it's going to get uncomfortable in rather short time.I think they didn't have adults in mind when they designed the most of their things.
>>535345082Are you fucking kidding, even if we were Tesla or Shakespeare it wouldn't mean shit. This society doesn't deserve men like them.
>>535345407>This society doesn't deserve men like them.True
>>535343356FF7 remaster was a total disgrace to the original in every conceivable way, your support of it is the reason the video game industry is a disgusting failure. You are the problem, no conspiracy there
>>535343356>FF7 remasters are fine. The source material just isn't very good.
>>535343572FF3 was on SNES, and that is what it was called and will always be to the original players.FF3 is FF6 for people who don't care to backcheck real world information. This will probably still go over your head.
>>535345829what was so bad about it?i dont plan to ever play it
>>535341843Sue your father, or otherwise make certain he ends up in an old folks home and instruct Shaniqua to beat his head in and leave him in his own shit.
>>535346019It has nothing to do with the original game. The game has some visual similarity to the original and that's all. In early 10s it would be lynched to death by youtubers, the silence about it now is disturbing.
>>535346019Everything Everything, its unbelieveableWhew, check out the youtuber Sebbyweb, hes on social media too.He does tons of breakdowns and side by side comparisons.Basically they destroyed the entire storyline, and "Disneyfied" it. Rewriting nearly all the character ethos. Made cringe and nauseating character discussions They added content to destroy even Aerith's death as a significant event. They make Sid a wimpy stupid newmale. Its hard to pick out the worst part, the way they destroyed Sephiroth was insane. They removed his uncanny introduction where he one hands a dragon while you barely do damage. Its not even the same game, then its supporters try to retcon the discussion and pretend its not even FF7...
>>535342994>name 1 modern video game that you think is better than chrono trigger.Nier Automata. Only Nier. It's like CT is the peak of the old world in 2d Games, and Nier the current 3d peak Game. Also honorably mentioning Morrowind, Okami and Witcher 3
>>535346166>>535346166Sebbyswebz has done a great job calling attention to this disgrace on social media.Everyone involved in the FF7 remakes needs to kill themselves.

>>535345959It is the 6th entry in the mainline series. It's not Final Fantasy 3. If a company decides to name it Final Fantasy 20, it's still not Final Fantasy 20.
The Kingdom you’re seeking is unironically the Kingdom of God, Eden restored.
>>535310406My friend and I got all the endings one summer after it came out, and I haven't touched it since. The most accurate real world ending is the one where the Reptiles take over because that's what jews are
I would be interested to see the artistic visual manifestation of data points that make up a psychology to demand a paradise. I'm sure it would be beyond pathetic and repulsive. The level of pampering and economic excess that you had in life to breed the level of entitlement required to make a demand like this is presumably unprecedented. Life isn't a video game that you one day win and are then granted an ideal world. Stay playing video games. You would only get in the way.
>>535345407Become the supervillain kind of Tesla.Although I can't even fault kiked people kiking at this point; what else are they supposed to do, say Elon Musk. Save the world? Coincidentally reality isn't a videogame, for all the NPCs. At best it's a very bad, tedious and dystopian videogame. So if people utilise their skills for their own ends, or become cattle ranchers, it's difficult to fault them. What's disgusting is the dynasties and those who built and enabled the current crap, notably including boomers, and Rockefellers and Rothschilds and what have you. Elon or Sam Altmann didn't commit any remarkable crimes yet.

>>535346166>>535346418>Rewriting nearly all the character ethos. Was looking forward to buying a PS5 just to play this, then decided to not bother after hearing how bad the "Midgar" release was. Can't believe they de-based Cid.Him and Barret taught me how to use swear words more effectively. They had and entire decade to NOT fuck it up with a "reimagining" instead of a faithful polished remake.
>>535311509Not an excuse. I'm 27 and I play older games all the time. Your brain is just fucked from instant gratification.
>>535346768When it was released in the US in 1994 it was called Final Fantasy 3. I understand you worship the prophet Muhammad and fuck your cousin, so are of an inbred subhuman intelligence.Your original statement is entirely false. You are a subhuman that Hitler would have exterminated
>>535346697Gamecube patrician tier>>535346618Such art things cant be forced to be made, but a few weeks ago a teaser dropped
>>535312047With Chrono, it's not really that your imagination fills the gap more than it is just genuinely good story telling. The art and, overwhelmingly, the music were (are?) unique.Together it created an experience that couldn't be mimicked. You travel back in time, are met with a black screen and then a masterpiece of a soundtrack starts playing, as the past fades into view. You travel forward in time, are met with a black screen, hear a dystopian sad theme you've never heard in your life, as the misery of the future fades into view. Then you travel to 12000 BC and nigger you hear music people make songs off now as you're in the sky and you see, who you thought was the final boss, when he is an innocent kid (at 120000 BC, what is he doing there)Such a good game, it's nuts.
>>535346705fr
>>535347511Then Robo fades into view and you get rickrolled, except in the past where rickrolling didn't exist yet.

>>535347511https://youtube.com/watch?v=2XSFVlUM08sEntering Kingdom of Zeal for the first time or entering the Amusement Park in Nier for the first time....
>>535346418>Its hard to pick out the worst partThe original was convoluted (the amnesia of main character) but it was still a simple and satisfying story:>ultra- jewish megacorp harvesting some kind of global life energy for cheap electricity>a supersoldier presumed to be dead appears again, recovers a "The Thing" space horror from its containment, goes mad and then tries to trigger an extinction event with a meteorite>the good ending is bittersweet at bestNow, the "remake"...>at least 2 different timelines at once>multiverse>a Deus Ex machina force ("whispers") can appear in any moment and alter the events- nobody finds it alarming>all dark, serious themes gone>the plot detaches from the original outline at the end of 2020 remake>uncanny valley level of tone- deafness in how the new scenes were directed>at some point the game reaches critical level of nonsense per hour, Bioware styleIt's so bad it's hard to criticize it without writing a very, VERY long list, not just because it's different from the original, but because some events don't make sense in the new setting.
>>535347118The original + ninostyle chibi models is the real remake
