I made a dish with black olives, capers, pasta, 1 tin of chopped tomatoes, put it all into a pan with some pasta water and de glazed the pan of fat left over from frying chicken in butter and just gave it all a stir.I thought it would suck and it ended up being one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I could serve it to anyone and they would say"Anon you are a great cook!"It probably cost me €2.50 and it fed two of us. Obviously cost more but I have lots of pasta, olives and capers left over. I used about €2.50 of ingredients.Took no time at all either.Cooking like that is a big flex.
