I seriously doubt anyone is trying to think like a language model that has nearly the entirety of all recorded human history at its disposal. The author is basically claiming that people try to think like the next best thing to a god. Stupid, out-of-touch take.
What's likely rather happening is that people adopt the mannerisms of the LLM they chat with.
