On May 17th, a Russian tourist in his 30s was attacked by a bear while hiking in a forest in Okutama Town, Tokyo, Japan. He called 119, and a rescue team transported him to a hospital by helicopter. He sustained severe injuries to his arms and head. Authorities stated that he was not equipped with a bear bell or pepper spray. Police and local hunters searched for the bear, but it remains at large. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant.

On May 19th, a human corpse of unknown age and sex was found in a mountainous area of Okutama Town, Tokyo. The upper half of the body was missing. Multiple footprints and feces from a large animal were discovered around the corpse. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department suspects that the animal damaged the remains. Since bears inhabit this region, police believe the person may have been attacked by a bear. They are currently investigating the cause of death and working to identify the victim.
An off-duty police officer hiking in the area on his day off discovered the body about 100 meters off the trail.

Reminded that pigkrainians were cheerfully celebrating some shark chomping on Karen in USA, only to learn that the bitch was Ukrainian.

Truly a "we wuz rus n shieeet" nation.

oh another bear thread ok i will bite.
I was once chased by a bear out mountain biking, was ripping down hill and going over wood work bridges and could hear its claws click clacking on the wood behind me. It eventually gave a big huff and fucked off

One of my sons works in forestry in the remote northern Rockies, grizz country. He has come across recently departed bear dens whille bush whacking, and once was on one side of a valley with a roaring bear on the other. They had to go back in there the next day kek. They are unarmed with nothing more than bear spray. Ive seen him whack a black bear on the ass with stick.

Sausage rolls of bear and bacon are fucking great btw
