>>535433043The Libertarian Party literally NEVER fields a serious candidate. They are 100% controlled opposition. If you agree with libertarian politics you should never vote for those clowns. It's a much better strategy to form a group of libertarians within the GOP and the Democrat parties. Make them give concessions toward liberty. What did Massie ever really accomplish toward furthering the cause of libertarianism? What did Rand Paul accomplish? What about Ron Paul? None of them did any good. They were all controlled opposition in the end. The only way to restore liberty in the USA is to have fair elections again. That means putting pressure on the GOP and Democrats to pass the Save America Act. Libertarians also must drop the idea that 'open borders' somehow equates to more freedom and opportunity for American citizens. It doesn't. That's just one of those issues that controlled opposition likes to push because it makes them unelectable.
>>535436032This post is so stupid it has to be bait.>The Libertarian Party literally NEVER fields a serious candidate.Trump was never a "serious" candidate and he won twice. However, unlike the Republican party, in the LP there's an actual chance that you can get a principled candidate, which is what required to actually win in any meaningful sense.>They are 100% controlled opposition. And the Republican party isn't lol.>It's a much better strategy to form a group of libertarians within the GOP and the Democrat parties. Make them give concessions toward liberty. The Mises Caucus tried that and it blew up in their face. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wD-c4jwJ0pw>What did Massie ever really accomplish toward furthering the cause of libertarianism? What did Rand Paul accomplish? What about Ron Paul? None of them did any good. All these people tried to work within the Republican party btw.>The only way to restore liberty in the USA is to have fair elections again. That's a fools errand. No election is a "fair" election. Liberty will never be achieved through the false god of Democracy.>Libertarians also must drop the idea that 'open borders' somehow equates to more freedom and opportunity for American citizens. It doesn't.The state has no right to exclude someone from land that it doesn't rightfully own. In fact, a policy of open borders is unsustainable for the state, which is all the more reason to support it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3sa7J-i8ZY>That's just one of those issues that controlled opposition likes to push because it makes them unelectable.Having principles doesn't make you controlled opposition, lacking principles does.
