Yes, Japan ruined their culture by kowtowing to the West. They have proven to be too weak to resist Western influence and instead of being Asia's shield against westerners happily absorbed everything foreign, gutted their own culture to make room for it and then went on a killing spree across their still traditionally Asian neighbours just to prove to the West that they are just like Europeans. Then after being defeated both in China and in their homeland, they simply gave up and doubled down on serving foreigners and hating all their racial kin in Asia. I do not hate Japan, but their history since the start of the XXth century has been nothing but shameful wars samurai would consider unworthy, destroying their culture to please the West, unwarranted massacres and military defeats. At this point they are like Israel of Asia and unless they do something about it, they do not deserve any respect as a country.
