I don’t like this situation, but the only way to resolve the Iran issue is to commit ground forces. A ground invasion is genuinely the only path forward. Ideally, Trump shouldn't have started this mess in the first place, but he crossed the Rubicon the moment he ordered the airstrike on the Ayatollah, and there’s no turning back. He gambled that the air strikes would spark a revolution and force a regime change, but that bet failed. Now he’s operating under the delusion that he can somehow talk or bluff his way out of it. The reality is he can’t. An invasion is the only option left, even if it’s politically unpopular. That’s just how it is.
Comitting ground forces would he losing on purpose. Resolving the iran blockade quickly is the wrong strategy. Everyday they cant sell their oil it's as effective as bombing a power plant.
