… And that’s okay.

My nieces and nephew are Gen Beta. Still in kindergarten! But whenever I meet them they’re gushing over something new from Japan or China. My niece thinks Japanese princesses are the height of elegance. I was able to feed my nephew strange new food after saying it was Chinese. They watch Chinese cartoons, they dawn over Chinese history - I even caught my nieces playing pic related, being Siamese cats.

They don’t want to be American. Why would they? My brother is fine with this, my parents don’t understand - but they are fine with it too, after explaining the alternative is self-hating slop. Everyone knows American culture is done, even Midwestern boomers. I’m sure I’ll get someone calling me a bot or a shill, or some sort or collaborator. But you know what? After decades of being told this country doesn’t belong to me and that my children will be brown or “converted,” I would rather them fawn over Asia than seethe over being white.

Your nieces are going to die by the hand of a nigger and it has nothing to do with mainland China.

>They dawn over
Fawn over, damn this autocorrect! I would’ve written this thread at home, but I had to walk by several “coworkers” speaking Russian (Uzbeki migrants) and was reminded what being American actually means these days.

I don’t know if I believe that. How could the Chinese have no history? That’s a really silly statement! The Chinese adore their history, and have adored it for decades now. You can’t shake a stick without hitting some new rendition of Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, Journey to the West or the Spring and Autumn period.
