Interesting, so these 7 individuals in North Dakota weren't on the ship, but the report doesn't say they were passengers on the Airlink or KLM flight... maybe they were exposed at the airport?

>According to the department, the seven individuals were not passengers on the MV Hondius cruise ship but were exposed overseas to someone who was on the ship. The vessel is where the initial Andes strain hantavirus outbreak occurred in early May.
>Based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, seven individuals are being monitored: four are considered higher-risk exposures and the other three are considered lower-risk exposures.

There are so many chances this thing had to sneak out. And remember it only takes one single infection sneaking under the radar to pozz the whole planet

It is a miracle that this initial outbreak was on a cruise ship. If it wasn't we wouldn't have a prayer of containment. In 2018 one guy went to a birthday party and got 5 people (at four different tables) infected. He got some random 6th person that he only walked by outside the bathroom infected as well. They had to do strict containment measures to bring the r0 below 1. This was in a small isolated town and no international airports or highly populated cities were involved

That being said there are so many loose ends right now
>Dutch lady going through two airports and boarding two planes (one she was kicked off of after an hour because she was too sick to fly). Fun fact - The air filtration systems on airplanes don't work nearly as well while the plane is on the ground - So that is a LONG HOUR
>Swiss guy being in Zurich (and at first not isolated) while contagious
>On April 24, 30 passengers disembarked on Saint Helena island. The ship was there for two days and a bunch of passengers that didn't disembark went ashore and almost certainly some of them went to places that were packed with other tourists

Here is a great timeline
>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Timeline_of_the_MV_Hondius_hantavirus_outbreak

Also, this thing is contagious enough that one woman in the 2018 outbreak got TEN PEOPLE infected at a funeral

We are not out of the woods. Not by a long shot. There is a very good chance that this thing is out there silently spreading

FUN FACT
Birdwatcher might not be patient zero
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/doubts-grow-over-theory-that-bird-watchers-trip-to-argentine-landfill-sparked-hantavirus-outbreak/

ALSO
100,000 Argentinians are coming for the world cup (and a bunch of them aren't staying in hotels they will just aerosolize hanta-poop all over public toilets instead)

ALSO
https://thebeaconnews.org/stories/2026/05/11/world-cup-low-hotel-reservations-soccer-fans-camp-around-kc
>about 100,000 will be coming just from Argentina but they will not be staying in hotels.
>Camping at the World Cup isn’t anything new. Fans from around the world have been known to show up, support their team and sometimes forgo traditional accommodations.
>“It is definitely pretty standard World Cup behavior,” Toni Zibert, public information officer for the Kansas City, Missouri, Parks Department, told The Beacon. “It is something that has been observed at previous World Cups — attendees will kind of camp out during the games.”

TO SUMMARIZE
>100,000 Argentinian soccer fans, half of which plan to just camp out will be using shared bathrooms at and around campsites and public parks
>During a huge uptick in hanta (see picrel, it's way up, and the 2026 bar is only half the year)
>The absurdly long incubation time on hanta means there could be WAY more infected Argentinians than the data shows

AND APPARENTLY ARGENTINE FANS LOVE CAMPING MORE THAN ANY OTHER FANS
>While many countries have fan bases that travel well and sometimes camp near match sites, Argentine fans camped out en masse in 2014 when the World Cup was hosted in Brazil.

AND THIS IS A BIG YEAR SPECIFICALLY FOR ARGENTINA
>Argentina’s national team is also the reigning World Cup champion and is led by Lionel Messi, one of the most popular athletes on the planet. Kansas City is hosting the team’s base camp and at least one match — suggesting much of their supporter base is likely to head to Kansas City.

RIP KANSAS

The fucked up thing is that if others have contracted it they're just gonna write it off as a cold due to the CDC saying it was low risk. Anyone actually infected with the virus is going to be fucked and unprepared and also spread it themselves unknowingly.

You are contagious for about a week:
About 2 days before fever shows and about 5 days after

Think of how many close contacts that could be over the course of seven days (or even just the asymptomatic two days)
>what if the infected person commutes by public transit
>what if the infected person works retail or in a restaurant
>what if the infected person is a student or a teacher
>what if the infected person works in a crowded skyscraper (one sneeze on an elevator and its over)

We got so lucky that the initial outbreak was on a ship and we seem to be squandering this incredible gift by being sloppy with containment

IT ONLY SPREADS IN AFRICA BECAUSE THEY ARE RETARDED

>The dead bodies of Ebola victims are contagious, but mourners gathered for a funeral, believing the death was caused by a mystical illness, Dr Kamba said.
“Everyone is touching him, everyone is doing this... and that’s when the cases start to explode,” Dr Kamba said.

It only spread so much because at African funerals everyone rubs the corpse and on top of that the people in charge are completely incompetent

https://www.straitstimes.com/world/flawed-tests-and-funerals-allowed-ebola-to-spread-undetected-sources-say
>Botched testing and shipping of samples
>Dr Jean-Jacques Muyembe, director of Congo’s National Institute for Biomedical Research (INRB), said local health officials in Ituri began taking samples for testing in Bunia.
>The laboratory there used testing cartridges specific to the Zaire strain of Ebola, which is the strain behind 15 of Congo’s previous Ebola outbreaks, including a 2018-2020 epidemic in the country’s east that killed more than 2,200 people.
>But the current outbreak is caused by the Bundibugyo strain, which last surfaced in Congo in 2012 and, according to MSF, has an estimated case mortality rate of 25 per cent-40 per cent.
>The Bunia laboratory lacks the genetic sequencing equipment needed to identify strains other than Zaire, Dr Muyembe said, noting that only laboratories in Kinshasa and in the eastern city of Goma, which is under rebel control, can do that work.
>After the tests in Bunia came back negative for the Zaire strain, the laboratory set the samples aside rather than escalating them, Dr Muyembe said.
>“The reflex should have been to contact Kinshasa and send them to our laboratory here for further investigation,” he said.
>When the samples were finally sent to Kinshasa, the process was botched, Dr Muyembe said.
>The specimens arrived at 17 deg C, when they should have been kept at 4 deg C, he said. They were also shipped in microlitre rather than millilitre quantities, limiting the number of tests INRB could run, he said

It was 3, another person opened the #88 HVG and placed 2 in the confirmed deaths.

Don't get too attached to these numbers, when Covid happened they lied about the numbers, specially at the start, people just realized it was real when anons started posting webms of chinks dying out of nowhere, so we could be at this stage as far as we know.

https://www.thetimes.com/world/latin-america/article/how-hantavirus-cruise-ship-outbreak-spread-f7wsmjzj8

THE ARTICLE SAYS THE GARBAGE DUMP THEORY IS A BAD THEORY
>There is no evidence, however, that the Dutch couple visited the dump
>Daniels is sceptical that they contracted hantavirus there. He points out that it is a renowned birding spot and that people visit frequently
>“You don’t go inside. You leave your car on the road that runs by the dump and you step out behind a two metre-high wire fence, which you can look through with binoculars. You stay for a few minutes, maybe take a picture, then move on,” he says. “I’ve been there many times over many years, you don’t see mice, rats, walking around.”
>The director of epidemiology for the province of Tierra del Fuego, where Ushuaia sits, told the Buenos Aires Herald: “For us it is very unlikely. To suspect a local source of infection, we would need to have some case of hantavirus in the province, and that is not the case.”
>The Andes strain of the virus, which has been identified in the ship’s passengers and can be passed from human to human, has not been detected in Tierra del Fuego since 1996, officials said

THE ARTICLE SAYS THE ANDES VARIANT HAS CASES IN OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY
>The exact movements of the Dutch couple are not clear, but they had been traveling round the country for months
>In the last month there have been three cases of the Andes strain reported in a single family in Chubut province, north of Ushuaia

THE ARTICLE IS PROBABLY RIGHT
Picrel shows that the positive Andes variant cases from the Chubut province are at least 600 miles (1000km) away from the Ushuaia dump

SO

WHY ARE THEY BEING SO SLOPPY WITH CONTAINMENT?

The honor system style home isolation is BONKERS for something that can LITERALLY DESTROY CIVILIZATION

A 30% MORTALITY RATE MEANS NO ONE IS WILLING TO
>GROW OR TRANSPORT THE FOOD
>OR KEEP THE POWER ON
>OR KEEP THE MUNICIPAL WATER SYSTEMS RUNNING
>OR KEEP THE SEWAGE TREATED
>OR DELIVER FUEL TO GAS STATIONS
IT WILL BE COMPLETE AND TOTAL SOCIETAL BREAKDOWN

One guy already got caught sneaking out to a crowded bar when he was instructed to quarantine
>British man hauled out of Italian bar when he was meant to be in quarantine for hantavirus
https://metro.co.uk/2026/05/13/hantavirus-brit-found-italian-bar-rather-quarantining-28358624/

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKING FUCK ARE WE DOING HERE???

See this picrel graph?

If a virus is above the line it means it is extra deadly relative to it's transmissibility

If a virus is to the right of the line it means it is extra transmissible relative to it's deadliness

This thing is some combination of TOO DEADLY and TOO TRANSMISSIBLE and we are LETTING PEOPLE SELF ISOLATE AT HOME UNSUPERVISED

AND THE FUCKING CANADIANS BOTCHED THE REPATRIATION FLIGHTS BY GIVING THE CREW OF THE AIRCRAFT NOTHING BUT CLOTH MASKS AND GLOVES TO WEAR AND THEN LETTING THEM CONTINUE FLYING ALL AROUND THE WORLD FOR FOUR FUCKING DAYS
https://www.portugalresident.com/portuguese-air-crew-transports-passenger-positive-for-hantavirus/

And that 30% mortality rate jumps up to like 80% once the hospitals (almost immediately) fill up

>THIS TIME THERE WILL BE NO DANCING NURSES

>An Air France flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Detroit has reportedly been barred from entering U.S. airspace after officials became aware that a passenger may have been in an Ebola-affected country in recent weeks.
> According to a passenger who is on the flight, the pilots made an announcement to the up to 312 passengers on the Boeing 777-200 that “US authorities are not allowing us to land in Detroit.”
>The passenger added that a flight attendant “mentioned something about a virus and they have masks on.” The passenger was flying on a Delta Air Lines codeshare with Air France.
>In a statement, a spokesperson for Air France told us: “Air France confirms that, at the request of U.S. authorities, Flight AF378 on May 20, 2026, operating the Paris-Charles de Gaulle–Detroit (DTW) route, was diverted to Montreal Airport after a Congolese passenger on board was denied entry into the United States.”
>It’s likely that the diversion is connected to an emergency order issued by the CDC on Monday, which prevents most travelers who have been in three Central African countries, currently in the grip of a worrying Ebola outbreak, from entering the United States.

Ebola isn't airborne... right anons?

The thing is r0 is not a function of the characteristics of the virus alone it also depends on the environment the virus is in as well as the severity of the control measures implemented. In that 2018 outbreak it was in a isolated town and they had to do fairly strict lock downs to stop it. This is what makes the current outbreak such a potential world changing event

If the mRNA jabs cause immune tolerance to Hanta (OR EBOLA) the way they do with Covid we're in deep trouble

https://www.igor-chudov.com/p/booster-caused-immune-tolerance-explains

Booster-Caused IgG4 Immune Tolerance Explains Excess Mortality and "Chronic Covid"
>After mRNA vaccination the immune response against Spike is shifting to IgG4, which is how your body responds after repeat exposure to stuff it needs to tolerate, like peanut proteins or pollen

What is IgG4?
>Sometimes we face harmless inert substances, such as tree pollen, that cause inflammatory reactions called allergies
>To deal with these harmless substances, our immune system has a particular class of antibodies, called IgG4, that do the opposite of what we are used to hearing: they bind to allergens and tell our immune cells to ignore them rather than cause inflammation

mRNA Shots Work Like Allergen Shots
>It is a good idea not to have inflammation in response to pollen. It is a bad idea to train our immune system to ignore replicating pathogens
>How would “immune tolerance,” induced by repeat antigen shots such as mRNA injections, look like when the person is infected with Sars-Cov-2?
>It would look like a “mild” infection without a serious fever that would last much longer than necessary and cause organ damage. The sufferer may say, for the first week, that they are thankful for vaccines and boosters making their symptoms mild. Then they start wondering why the infection is not going away

What Does Immune Tolerance Do?
>Immune tolerance prevents rapid clearance of the infection, making boosted people the slowest to clear Covid-19
>It prevents the formation of lasting neutralizing immunity, thus allowing repeat reinfections

The Hanta tests look for an *immune response* to the virus, not the virus itself

No immune response = negative test result

What if the negative test results are false negatives due to the mRNA shots suppressing the immune systems of those tested?

Most hospitals for plebs are cancer. I work at a hospital and there are so many violations done on daily basis cause of laziness. DO you think 23 yr old nurses from community college are doing stuff by book? now with pandemic don't be shocked when hospitals fail to do anything. Hospitals are essentially doctors(managers) running nurse teams of 10+ people for each department helping multiple simultaneously.

not only nurses but doctors who hate it when you dare to question their competency. There's probably some guy in a florida hospital coughing his lungs out and doctors just think it's pneumonia cause well there's no andes test kits being proliferated across US hospitals. Just like how covid was spreading in US month before they had us go into lockdowns. And world cup being month away where millions of people across world will travel to major US cities in tight stadiums, tight subways and buses it won't spread?

If you ever been in a stadium you know when game ends it takes like an hour for you to leave stadium while being packed against hundreds of random strangers.

Some combination of the following 4 things is happening:

1) This Ebola strain really is something much more transmissible than usual (either naturally or it's bio-engineered)

2) The retarded Africans are rubbing infected corpses because the village witch doctor told them to and on top of that they can't even wear goggles properly

3) The immune system of anyone who took the covid mRNA-gene-therapy injections is forever compromised

4) Something other than Ebola is spreading. Maybe it's Hanta or maybe it's something else entirely

Back during 2014-2015 was govt grounding flights cause one person was from a country? If Ebola isn't transmissible easily why ground plane? Why restrict travel from 3 countries? Why deny US patient from being treated in US? There's more to story they're letting on anon and I'm afraid it'll be too late.

Do you know it took World Health Organization to say Covid was transmissible by air 4 months? Even after declaring worldwide pandemic they said air transmission wasn't a thing. These public health experts won't know what's going on until it's at your front door step.

>retarded Africans are rubbing infected corpses because the village witch doctor told them to and on top of that they can't even wear goggles properly

>do you think this is lead up to some bio engineered weapon where they first release normal viruses into public to proble public health response then unleash actual one?

Odds are they overreacted with covid so much because when they finally release the ORGAN-MELTER-3000 virus they want people to think its fake and refuse to follow any containment measures

Then when billions die they can blame those darn people who thought FREEDOM was MORE IMPORTANT than SAVING HUMAN LIVES

They will then claim that the only way to stop this from ever happening again is to hook us all into the AI powered Palantir total surveillance system and people will be so scared from all the death that they witnessed that they will let it happen

With a truly deadly virus you are in a catch 22:
>lock down the planet and billions starve to death
>don't lock down the planet and billions die from the virus

plus economy is already fucked from trillions of dollars they printed to keep economy stimulated during covid. Now with oil, AI, food, fertilizer and multiple conflicts I don't think west can handle another lockdown so they'll delay any panic until it's too late. It's really boy who cried wolf but now the boy has to risk losing all his prestiege or watching millions die cause he wanted to keep his job. No public health official will dare tell D.C ,london or Brussels that andes is dangerous and we need to lockdown to stop spread.

There is lots of speculation on this board that the coming lock downs will be designed to disguise the global fuel shortages

That is scaring the shit out of me.
Sounds like they're brushing it off like with the french chick that's now in the ICU.

Ebola is for niggers.
Huwhite gentlemen choose Hanta.

Unless I hear that Ebola has suddenly mutated and went airborne I don't care. Their funeral rituals involve touching the dead, it's no wonder it spreads.
No society whose culture says "oh yeah lets rub a corpse that's cool" is going to last, they'll all die of a plague eventually.
Hantavirus has a looooong incubation time, especially this variant. We're at about 3.5 weeks since the first chunk of people left the boat, which if they weren't already infected would be their most likely chance TO become infected and would enter "oh fuck" stage between a few days ago and about a week and a half. If we can make it through that without some of these people suddenly hitting an ICU it's likely fine unless you think they're either a. intentionally hiding deaths or b. misclassifying them because they're idiots
If Hantavirus ends up popping off there will be nobody left to protect those people from themselves and they'll die out in a massive plague of other crap even if they're not directly affected by hanta.
