How rich do you have to be in order to avoid being culled after they displace everyone with AI powered robotics?
>>
you can 20 years of food for yourself right now for <$10k. so theres really no excuse
>>
Robotics is even more cooked than AI.
>>
>>535474613
>no rice spills outside the bowl
AI is so unrealistic lol
>>
>>535474819
this isnt AI. i saw vids of similar machines on instagram before AI vids were a thing
>>
>>535474613
its probably a bitch setting all that up. Who diced up the ham and veggies? Someone still had to do shit.
>>
>>535474726
start breeding rabbits. they are basically free to feed except winter. you will have to produce something to survive. im thinking about planting 20 peach trees and sell peaches to make ends meet

Its not about money, its if you're part of the club. Just because someone earned a few million dollars doing adult daycare jobs doesnt mean their going to spare them.

yeah okay
>>
>>535474613
They're doing it wrong. You add the eggs at the end The eggs should be poured on with a kettle to make them stringy in the rice. Also it needs the special ingredient: MSG.

How much money would you need to live the rest of your life without any source of additional income at current prices?
Take that number and double it. If you don't have at least that much in savings, you are doomed.

there is no robotic hand in the food video
there's a primitive rice mixing spiral which magically manages to not spill any rice outside the bowl

It's not about "rich" it's about wealth. And yes there is a difference. To avoid being culled, you have to have enough wealth to be able to live comfortably without needed a job or any financial support from the government.

When nerds think they are gods.
There is no 'procedure' to cooking. It is not static programmed movements, it is observing and reacting to the stages of the food.
I would not not eat food from a non-whites and that includes robots.

its real
there is a shitload of "robotics" meme graduate startups who buy off the shelf manipulators and do shit like that

its absolutely pathetic

I mean, you can literally limit the spin rate of the stiring mechanism to ensure it's below the speed needed to eject rice from the bowl (and yes, the engineer would have that spec). Engineers are smart.

>>535474613
This is just weirdly specific automation; that's not what's going to replace people who are great at cooking.
The real threat is going to be from all purpose robots that are faster than humans, more agile than humans, and are powered by ASI (or even just AGI). Order the same robot for whatever you need; doesn't matter if it's cooking, cleaning, construction, etc. because the robot can physically do everything a human can do and can do anything because it's controlled by something smarter and with more knowledge than anyone alive on the planet.
If we get to ASI, it'll be a (very short) matter of time before it starts to produce these types of robots.

>>535474613
Not as much as you may think, robotics is not that efficient, yes automation will take over things with economies of scale like vehicles of uber etc, but not that much.

A dude cleaning the streets from trash will be more efficient than a robot doing the same, you will be suprised how efficient the human body is in energy input and capacities per calories relative to robotics.

Robotics win were there is an incentive for mass production non stop.
>>
>>535475080
If you get 20 peach trees producing at maximum you're talking at least 2,000 lbs of peaches in a pretty short time frame. If you think you can sell that much in a month then go for it but sounds unlikely to me. Mix it up, do 5 peaches, 5 pears, 5 apples and 5 cherries or plums or whatever grows in your area, then you're spreading out the picking season and not gonna be inundated with one crop. I have hickory trees growing on my property and I've been encouraging them, it's not a yearly revenue source, at least for a long while until a lot more are maturing regularly but it'll be a way to make money when I'm a boomer. The problem with produce is that when yours are ready, so are everybody else's so they're cheap and abundant

Preprogrammed axis machines are not AI. These these are just operating on excel spreadsheet data that reads like
>move axis A to 20
>move axis B to 5
>move axis C to 60
>move axis A to -15

Also robotic welding is not precision. They're only used because of they can be used on assembly lines where they're doing the same movements over and over again. They are only used when there's no other alternative. They weld blind and can't even tell when they've done something wrong. That car factory photo for example is them welding together parts of chassi together because the manufacturer couldn't cast the chassi in a single piece. Once a manufacturer can do that, they don't even need the robots, just a giant machine that works like the ones that makes plastic warhammer and gundam kits except rather than using plastic they're making chassis out of aluminium or magnesium.
>>
>>535474613
The setup in that wbem is so retarded. Ultimatelly all the real work is done by the specialized tools. The manipulators are there just for show. The spices can easily be done by extruders.

If they want to use manipulators, then the whole thing should be done by manipulators using standard human tools. No rotating frying pan. No mixer.
