How many people criticizing police would still call 911 in their worst moment? Also, as a cop or someone in law enforcement could you spend your life protecting strangers who assume the worst about you? The media just loves a bad cop story and jumps all over the "bad cop" mentality with stories like Sean Grayson who shot and killed Sonya Massey or the former Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke who was convicted of second degree murder for shooting 17 year-old Laquan McDonald 16 times or the Ferguson Missouri case with the riots and the Michael Brown shooting in 2014. They never show the good sides of cops or rarely the acts of heroism and professionalism it takes to be a cop. That's what I find biased and wrong about the media. I feel like being in law enforcement is a testing job, high stress, seeing people at their worst. How do they do it day to day and come home to their families and friends sane? I have so much respect for the men and women who put on that uniform everyday. It's not just a job, it's a calling by people who just want the best for their communities. I don't know how they do it...
