If the government cared about your well-being, they would be pushing for "victory gardens" to help reduce food costs.

That's why, during the pandemic, they made sure to lock up all gardening supplies "for your health".

Ah yes, sumac.

He's a retard. Ignore him.

The economics of it are crazy.

1 lb of cherries costs 7 bucks.
A dwarf cherry tree produces upwards of 20 lbs of fruit every season after 3-4 years of growth. The tree costs 60 bucks. It pays for itself after ONE season and continues to produce for DECADES.
>>
Hazelnut trees cost 10 dollars each. After a few years of growth, they put out 10+ lbs per season. 1 lb of hazelnuts is 5 dollars on the cheap end.

Mulberrys taste amazing but if you grow alot you have to get into preserving, they dont last long at all in the fridge. But a decently looked after 10 year old tree can give buckets of fruit a year.
Great tree to add if you already have some essentials like oranges, apricots and plums.

Mulberry makes great wine, btw.

Do NOT grow your own food, goyim. This causes climate change, and will soon be illegal under President Trump. You should be sending your money to Ed Gallrein.

Illegal under greatest PM Carney.

What does this have to do with the thread, exactly?

I really like the way mulberries taste. They are delicious fruits.
But mulberry trees are a big thing in China because silkworms live on mulberry trees and China grows them to foster their silkworms for then making silk.
It is for this reason that I would never grow a mulberry tree.
After covid, I can't stand anything having to do with China or the Chinese.
Call me racist if you want, but I'll never grow a mulberry tree for that reason.
I would still eat mulberries though. They are one of my favorite fruits.
>>
>>535498661
That's a really stupid reason to not grow delicious food, but even then you can just grow a variety of mulberry they don't use (red mulberry).
>>

>That's why, during the pandemic, they made sure to lock up all gardening supplies "for your health
Thats simply not true
You just nedd a licence,we cant have oeople msking gheir own food willy-nilly

Oh, and what do you know? I just looked this up.
The invasive Spotted Lanternfly and Brown Marmorated Stink Bug are both hosted by the mulberry tree and are of Chinese origin.
Surprise Surprise! ( This surprises no one, btw. )
>>
>>535494602
Troll or Indian, begone.
>>
>>535497581
Just dry them, retard.
They taste like honey-molasses.
>>
>>535498661
Retard. Just grow the tree and don't tell China. If a silkworm finds your haven, cool, it won't get killed in a factory like his brothers do.
>>
>>535499404
The ones used in the silk industry have largely lost the ability to fly entirely.
>>
Soooooo. Dwarf moringa trees?? Is that worthy?
>>
>>535499462
I've never had it, but it sounds neat.

you need a permit from the department of gas chambers to do any thing to your habitat.

I just couldn't stomach it. Looking at a Chinese tree on MY property. Its a matter of principle is all. I won't even order orange chicken anymore, desu.
